I believe I am the 3rd one to ask this - please answer: Which Thornbucker model do you use in the bridge? Pete Thorn has released, at least what I know, three bridge models: 1. Thornbucker, 2. Thornbucker +, and now the new Thornbucker II. Which one have you installed in the McCarthy here? I am really curious, because I too lead worship and your sound is inspiring - oh, and I too have a PRS (Custom 24) and am very much considering pickup swap based on the sound in this vid. Thanks

Having used both in many guitars there’s not a big difference between plus and regular. I use plus bridge in dual humbucker guitars and regular with single coils like in a Strat.

Thrre sounds beautiful . Standards pickup is still good good . New one do add bit more . I hot s2 mccarty single cut 594 pickup ok but something missing . Standards pickup like my special 58 Lt. I really love to buy do cost more were l live add taxs on it . But i see some there one i see guys paty two prs guitars s2 an Standards mccarty with suhr pickup if buy them try i save $ lot . Have good think about it .

What speaker/cab/mic settings on the captor x?

I’m almost positive the Bad Cat was running through the Captor. For that amp I use the IR’s that we made from the Bad Cat cab.

Now do this with the amps running live speakers, ten feet apart ten feet in front of you facing you. A bit loud to do that too long but it is transformative to do it once
