I love it cause it's actually got three channels with individual channel controls instead of global channel controls that really render it a single channel cause if you set up the dirty channel to sound great then the clean channel suffers.

This amp is utterly savage & that overdrive channel, you don't realise how much you miss the MT-15 not having the in between (turning down the gain on the MT15 lead just doesn't cut it cos the gain stages on that are grossly punching so far above its 'weight' its terrifying frankly). PRS just continuing to 'do it right'

Not sure if it’s the mic or cab or both or god forbid the amp but it seems quite a bit mushy sounding for me and quite grainy. I’m starting to think this amp isn’t aimed at me personally. I could see this doing some hard rock REALLY good. But I’m more into Gojira style tones. That’s why my amp is the EVH 5150iiis el34 100 watt head. That being said, The high gain channel really isn’t that bad on this amp. Just slightly wrong enough to pass over for me. However, I wouldn’t mind an amp like this for my rock clients. I may be looking into a comparison between this amp and the mt15. I don’t need 100 watts to record. If they sound similar enough I may be interested. I guess that was the long way to say “hmm useful amp”

The more I see from this amp, the more disappointed I am with it. It doesn't offer anything above an EVH 5150III and both the dirt channels are enormously inarticulate and not very versatile in what you can do with the EQ. The clean channel sounds lovely at least. There's no real technical innovation, not even MIDI or switchable FX loop. It's noisy AF, too. It needs a gate. I love Tremonti and his music but the MT15 was a much better hit than this.

Whoever thought a Christian rock guitarist would ever have their own signature amp? PRS's affinity for Creed, makes me wanna vomit and is the reason I'll never buy any of his guitars. I also would never purchase any signature guitar or amp of a living guitarist.
