First, double thanks - especially for the kind words. I have never had a top of the line guitar. Used to have a Korean strat that was pretty great. Mostly imports or Mexican made Fenders. So, I would say, the NF3 is absolutely as good as any guitar I have had. I would hate to say it is excellent if you played high-end stuff. Your standards may be higher than mine... my guess is it could be dialed in to greatness (maybe a fret edge or two), but no real setbacks out of the box for me. No buzz, no choked out notes. I had been a PRS hater for a long time. Why? I think it was more Paul Reed Smith himself so I never bothered to try.one. Then one day during a rehearsal, one of the other guitarists had a PRS Core. He had me try it knowing I didn't like PRS. I was a gonner after that rehearsal as I was shocked at how great it felt to play. They tones I was able to get out of it were really sweet to the ears. Since that day, I now own 6 PRS guitar models. Love the feel, the playability, the tones, and the weight. The birds and the headstock don't bother me personally like I know some say it does not appeal to them. I understand, we all have our likes/dislikes about various guitars. And many more Big Macs will be eaten. Thanks for watching. Appreciate it.

Some people don’t need more Strats 😜

PRS are ok, but way too pricey. Tonewood is snakeoil.

I paid about the same for my Player Series Strat and this PRS and I feel they are comparable in quality. I think the non SE models are pricey for sure. You either get a good affordable import, or an expensive US made. If that is what you mean, I concur!

Fender all the way. PRS is a copycat and Paul is a greasy salesman. Be original. Fender has the Mojo.

@@iancurrie8844 appreciate the view... What would you call it if a company hired the largest law firm on the planet to put a small mom-and-pop business out of commission? Fender did that to my friends... Not saying that makes PRS better, but I will never be buying another fender

@@BlugubriousMusic I don't think that's good either. Fender has changed ownership over the years. Was that under the current ownership? Why did they have a leg to stand on against that shop. What were they doing? Paul is a greasy salesman. He sells snakeoil. He preaches that his special tuning keys (just the buttons) have an affect on tone. He's a sheister.

@@iancurrie8844 Yes, current leadership. You can look it up... search CGS Fender (that is Mike China Guitar Sceptic who did the video before he passed). The produce was called Win-D-Fender... it literally defended flute players from wind so they can play outside. There were people in the company who had not heard of Fender before the suit. It was a play on Defender. Almost lost their company. Even offered to share profit while they retooled with new name... nope, Fender hired the biggest law firm in the world to help. Smashed a mom and pop company into the ground. About Paul... I actually believe everything effects the tone. BUT and it is a big BUT, I think it is a ridiculous pursuit. I think there are very few players in the world who could ever use any of those differences or nuance in any meaningful musical way. So even if one piece of bone sounds different than another, the music played on either is probably not worth pretending we are that smart over. I take the road that I want to make mediocre gear sound as good as it can. Like an imported affordable guitar.... called an NF3 in this case, but it could be anything. I promise I appreciate this dialog. You sound like you are thinking through things and care about it... wherever we land, that is appreciated by me!

@@BlugubriousMusic That's very sad to hear. Thanks for letting me know.
