That's an amazing guitar, and this color is sweet! I've got the piezo version in black gold burst, I've put a set of Gibson Classic 57 and 57+, I know that sound crazy but those PAF pickups make an awesome job!! It sound amazing and the overall finishes of the guitar are top notch! Even the electronics is high quality, I mean CTS type pots with Mallory caps... It's just a perfect instrument, especially for my use, it can do anything I want!!😄

The guitar seems amazing but the construction is definitely different. The body (not the figured flame maple veneer) is a five ply laminate. Not necessarily a bad thing but not the same as the core model.

Having owned both, the core is amazing, but the SE is amazing for the money.

Do you think this guitar is worth it? I personally already own a PRS CE 24 and love it. But I've been heavily looking into this guitar lately. I like that its light weight if I ever do gigs. Is the hollow body really that different than a solid body overall? Would you recommend this on top of already having a CE 24? I think I would benefit from this guitar at least with its acoustic setting.

Great vid.....Are those ART PRO-MPA's I see in the backround? I own a pair myself. I think mine are 1990's . Use as mic pre for mic-ed up amps & acoustic guitars as well as vox. Love 'em.

Bought the Piezo. Definitely spend the extra money. The mag pickups alone can't compare to the depth of combining all 3. Not even close!

Definitely. You're probably gonna want a good noise gate to help manage feedback but otherwise, this can do it all in my opinion.

@@johnfleet1854 It's like there's a muffler over each and every note, no zing. It's a little better on the bridge pickup, terrible on the neck. Sounds a bit lifeless to be honest. It might be the other part of the chain - the mic, head, cab... I don't know. My honest opinion is that the first iteration - the Standard - sounds much better.

Fair point, probably more to do with the amp. Tried to keep everything as dry as possible. But again, appreciate the view.
