What's not to like with Chinese Elms. They are tolerant of bonsai techniques and if grown outside develop lovely small leaves and great ramification. Clearly they can deal with a hard early summer prune. Nice presentation showing what can be done.

I have all my speakers on high and the computer and your voice is still coming out soft. I would just invest in a clip on Mic or something to allow the sound and your voice to carry louder so your audience can hear you better. I’m curious how much that elm 🌳 was when you purchased it? I know here in the USA 🇺🇸 if I’d had to guess retail at a store online you’d be looking at prob 2.5k-4k. I was actually was gong to purchase a Chinese elm tomorrow for $500 that’s over 30yrs old a real steal imo. Beautiful piece you have!!

I purchased a Chinese Elm bonsai a year ago, and it has grown, then struggled, then bloomed then struggled since. It's leaves keep getting black spots on them, then it drops those...alot of them. Then it buds again and looks good for a bit...then black spot leaves, drop, repeat. It's an indoor, in window, South facing...lot's of sun light Southern California tree. Advise on how to get it stable?
