Normally best time is immediately or some short period after you harvest your avocado during the main season specifically so as to activate or stress the trees to start flowering

Thank you,we had used a spacing of 4m by 5m but has proved to be a great menace which i advice any farmer venturing into avocado farming not to use my spacing as the orchard is already getting bushy so after removing the crop during harvest we are forced to do a-loot of pruning because without proper sunlight and more bushy trees narrows down to a minimum production .i recommend a spacing of at-least 5m by 7m

From my zone we have two seasons a year for the hass avocado,the main fruit season and the offseason fruit
