[PS1] Beavis & Butt-head: Virtual Aho Shoukougun

This is a 1998 Japan-only Playstation port of the 1995 PC point-and-click adventure Beavis & Butt-head in Virtual Stupidity, complete with fully voiced Japanese dialogue. Aside from the unfortunate lack of the Playstation mouse support and slightly longer transitions between screens, Virtual Aho Shoukougun is a faithful recreation of the original experience.

Beavis and Butt-Head seems like a show that really wouldn't work dubbed into another language. Half the jokes are sex euphemisms that I doubt would translate well.

I was shocked enough, ONE time watching Beavis and Butthead, they aired a Squaresoft commercial for "Chrono Trigger", fully in Japanese. I was so mad i wasn't recording at that time lol.

Lol, the dub almost sounds fan-made. Pretty much all the line deliveries are sloppy.

Even though the voice acting in this version isn't that great, it's still interesting as hell to see Beavis and Butthead speaking in Japanese.

Guess they translated it in Japanese because the world is similar to Japan. Even the art style is a crude/funny version of character, Crayon-Chan style. Surprise they translate Beavis & Butthead. Did they make a Japanese dub of the show?

@@Just.Kidding I've owned the PC release since it first came out. I still have it. A lot of the early Win95 CDRom software doesn't run at all, or very well. I'd normally use DOSBOX, but that obviously won't work here.
