I use the original model on a crt, wpuldn't have it any other way. Tho I do keep 7 of them for laseres just in case.

In Australia there is a clear winner. So few games are optimized for PAL and even if they are optimised they run at a reduced framerate. Emulation all the way.

i pick... mister fpga. its now so accurate that it can replace a real psx and has a lot of the benefits of an emulator while supported crt connectivity and real ps1 accessories and controllers. best of both worlds.

Duckstation all the way. Used epsxe, but pain to set up, in my opinion. Used Beetle HW core in Retroarch, thats also not bad, but ill choose Duckstation over all of them. Also runs great on my phone. As does AetherSX2, i play God of War on it, stable 60, 1.5x res. yeah, but the screen is not big, so it looks fine. ODT playing on Duckstation. On PS1 it was a pain, then also on PC played it, but it was rage inducing to say the least. But with Duckstation and Quicksaving (save states) its a joy to play. O.D.T. Escape ...or die trying :). 4 characters + 2 to unlock (i think), fun game, recommend it. Btw i know u have lives and can get more lives in that game but again, some situations are tricky as fuck and well i think save states for the rescue
