Fun fact- Australians call shrimps ‘prawns’. The “throw a shrimp on the barbie” saying was from an ad by the Australian Tourism Commission to get American people to travel to Australia. It was aired from 1984 to 1990. The actual slogan of the ad was “Come and say G’day”, but the other saying caught on more. As an Australian, it’s funny to see people quote it without knowing we don’t say shrimp. I wasn’t expecting the ad to be referenced in the Australian stage of this game
