@steveharvey21022 жыл бұрын
Just in case it hasn't been mentioned yet; A Macguffin is a term, first used by film director, Alfred Hitchcock. Essentially, a Macguffin is the term used for the item or thing that propells the story. A prime example would be the Ark in the movie, "Raiders of the lost Ark". It sets the main story in motion and propels the plot. It doesn't always have to be an important, or valuable item, in of itself. It just needs to be of importance to the characters in the story. Bravo to the devs. For the wink, wink use of the term! One more reason this game is so amusing! Cheers from Canada
@robonator294511 ай бұрын
Alfred Hitchcock popularized it but he didn't invent it. It seems like the earliest use of the concept was by an actor (though the word was different, 'weenie's) but Angus McPhail (I'm guessing Kevin got a brief stint as God and decided to play bitlife with real-people in history because I refuse to believe you get the last name 'McPhail' of natural causes) is the first one to coin the term Macguffin specfically.

This is so nostalgic cuz this was one of my favourite games back in secondary school, and a few weeks ago I actually searched to see if Kevin had already played it so. Guess he's a mindreader now, neat.

Watched a playthrough back in the day and eventually got jt for myself. Genuinely surprised how much both myself and the other person I watched missed, I thought I knew a lot about this game but Kevin keeps on finding stuff I never had a clue about

30:32 is a reference to Warcraft. That's the cursor you get if you play as orcs.

I remember seeing videos on this game from years ago still never forgot it purely cause of how weird it was.

This game is *perfect* for Kevin, all the chaos he wants is given to him non-stop.

Gotta say I’m really loving these long videos, I appreciate any Kevin content, but these full experiences are really entertaining and it’s nice to see more than usual. I just hope this sort of thing doesn’t burn you out!
