I cant put enough effort into these games to get all endings, sometimes I dont even get a decent ending. Thanks for putting all the endings up, especially in an organized fashion.

I'm glad it helped you! Fortunately, the later games (Ayesha onward, and Rorona Plus) allow you to choose from all the endings you have qualified for, so you no longer need to purposely avoid events and activities.

Just finished and got the normal ending. Glad I was able to see all the endings here. I thought her mom would be alive in the true ending, since she left to die on her own. Sounds like Astrid saved her. I wonder if there were more hints to that after the cutscenes where you find out about her time in Frontier Village. I only got to the Cobalt license, came up 500 points short of the final one, which I guess you need to fight evil face. Too bad, I wanted to do those last few boss fights. I never even managed to get the dragon parts for the better equipment, despite killing the one dragon I had access to at least 5 times. Regardless, I had fun with the experience and maybe I'll do a new game plus in the future. Hopefully it'll be a bit easier to get the true ending in NG+, haha. Love this series

This is perhaps the hardest of the PS3 titles in terms of time and inventory management and enemy strength. You also need to actively avoid ending flags if you want to see all endings, as explained in the video. You can carry over whatever you have equipped to a NG+, which should save you a lot of time in the beginning, and I think is worth it. There is a quirky build for Totori (and to some extent, Rorona) that allows her to hit normal attacks for 1500+. You'd want Enchant Fire/Ice/Lightning/Earth and Quality L or Attack +10 on her weapon, plus the Magic Chain item with Soul Steal and Effect Boost L, Boost Effect L, Loner Slayer L, etc. Soul Steal will give her 999 ATK/DEF/SPD, and you can even solo the Ozean Kaiser with her. @@manaphylv100 Holy crap, that's absurd. She gets so many turns using that dimension egg. I had no idea where or when I'd find certain items, so I ended up being stuck with level 2 armor until my final year, and it was pretty mediocre when I finally did get to make the velvetis (I couldn't make the scale cloth either cause the dragon kept not giving me any drops and I forgot to save the one time it gave me a scale). I was also stuck on the platinum level weapons, but I never managed to get the traits I wanted on it, or a Quality L to improve the quality, so my weapons were kinda mediocre too. I think I used my level 2 weapons for the first 3 or 4 years too, so it was a messy playthrough. Had a ton of trouble saving up until I got my second and third Chims in year 5. I guess I should've mapped out a gameplan a bit better first, but I love going into these games blind. Probably wasted months of time gathering worthless materials, I filled and had to sell off large portions of my container multiple times during my playthrough. Still, it was super fun. I'd love to find the time to get through it all again. Gotta manage my time better next go around so I don't leave any teammates hanging again too. I think I only used Marc for 2 months and gave up on Gino as soon as I got Rorona, Sterk, Cordellia, and Iksel, then I kept Ceci as a permanent partner once I unlocked her, cause I wanted the sisters to work together to fight the monster that they thought killed their mom. Seems like a lot of endings are locked behind reaching the top rank. How long should it take to reach that rank after the first 3 year time limit for Diamond? Cause it took me a lot longer to get Cobalt than I had hoped for, I think it was November of Year 4. When I saw how long the last one takes, I basically just accepted I wouldn't make it at that point.

@@Chronoflation The easiest way to farm traits is to make those item spawners (Spring Cup, etc.) with the best effect, and register to shops. As for ranking up, the game tells you what tasks you need to complete for adventurer points. It's been a long time since I've played it, but I'm sure you don't need to do them all (since some are missable), even for Galaxy. Anyway, it's good that you got the Normal ending out of the way first, because it's actually the hardest, requiring you to avoid all other flags. For all character endings, it's best to keep their friendship at 60 (decline all requests), so you can save-scum for requests from everyone at the end.

@@manaphylv100 Oh, I don't think I ever made a spring cup, or even was able to. I guess I'll focus more directly on mission hunting and looking up the best synthesis items to aid with the farming, and I'll focus on tackling specific missions. Next time I want to get to take on some of the super bosses. I only ever managed to defeat one of the ones in Rorona DX, so I want to at least be able to challenge one in Totori. Though, I think I'll try out a normal Meruru playthrough before going back to Totori

I have not completed this game yet, but I want to know.... I was a 100% sure totori's mom was dead since the first dialogue the say in the begining of the game, and watching Mel ending and the true one, is it a good story how totori's mom is not dead? Or nah? I am not going to finish this games (the Arland series) because at the end we are just playing a " Slice of life " anime lol
@manaphylv1004 жыл бұрын
Long story short, her mom isn't dead; the grave is because the villagers thought she wasn't going to make it after she left on the ship. However, Totori only finds out that her mom is still alive in the true ending, so all other endings are based on the assumption that her mom is dead.
