Guacamelee is another game that has the same difficulty in their challenges I almost broke my ps vita playing guacamelee el infierno challenge is a real pain. For the #5th Challenge , there is a easy method, as you can see in the back there is a broken/colapsed spot , as soon as the undead soldier pass that spot start pulling (just grab the catapult and dont start pulling before)

I hate challenge 8 allot cause without the shockwave it’s so dam hard with all four gorgon almost always using their stone gaze so you gotta keep dodging almost constantly so you aren’t turn to stone and during that you can mostly do only two hits combos before dodging in case one of the undead attacks you and you can parry but then when you want to do the parry attack the gorgon freezes you and stops you from doing it and if you manage to get out before something hits you you gotta either dodge or try to parry again but then your attacked by 2 undead and 1 gorgon so you can’t parry them all and the gorgon do lots of damage so you got to hell with the undead soldier but the gorgon keep turning them to stone giving you only red orb and no green and finally the gorgon attack are so much to parry or block in my opinion like the lunge is ok but then sometime they give you no warning or you can’t see them cause there so many things on the screen and then you have the tail hit which gives you almost no time to react and has the same problem then the lunge and finally that god dam petrifying gaze that stops them from taking any knock back I spent 3 hour trying to beat it this way not once have I been able to kill of one of the gorgon for good I have been able to completely defeat all the undead soldier twice but then I am left with the four gorgon and I am 2 hits away from dying and then I kill one gorgon for it to respanw and then imidiatly die and have to start all over again

I hope this helps anyone who is trying to do mission 10, Took me between 1.5 hours to do the challenge (i created this technique about 45 minutes in) Spartan Rage ready to use to make it easier but if not you can still do it (with luck honestly, that's what this challenge is) 1. Run to the platform and use the air circle button smash that is seen in the video 2. After doing that you will be vulnerable and almost always hit by the tougher enemies so what you want to do is spam roll to the nearest or any edge, yes you need to try and roll off the edge and this will prompt Kratos to grab onto the ledge dangling, you have a good 2 seconds or so (practice on your own) before Kratos falls off on the edge but you want to take a brief second and wait before pulling yourself up. When youre on the edge after rolling off, the tough enemies will very often "restart" or reset there attack and it gives you time to climb back up and run to the center to repeat the air circle button smash 3. You want to make your best effort to be in the center of the arena because the only thing that can really kill you is the stupid enemies grabbing you and yeeting you off the platform 4. You can use Spartan rage whenever you desire

Same strategy in this video 3. Same strategy in this video 4. Use medusas gaze at each minotaur, then quickly smash them one by one using L1+0 5. Same strategy in this video. Its all about pattern and timing 6. Jump quickly and fluidly from each disc to another. A little luck is needed here, pray you don't get hit by an arrow while jumping 7. Push them all out by attacking L1+0. Don't do it if a minotaur is near,it can attack you 8. Same strategy in this video. Patience. Knock them off. Cancel L1+0 if medusas gaze is directed at you 9. Same strategy in this video. A massive attacks at cyclopses using 🔺🔺🔺 10. I found a better way. Use the 🟥 charge attacks to knock them off. Alternate to L1+0 at appropriate times. Save rage of gods, use midway and jump at next platform asap as possible.

For challenge 8 the best is to do Hermes rush (r1 i think) twice then square, thats the shortest way to do the final hit of the full square combo, also if gorgons are trying to freeze you, end it with triangle, you will most likely stun them and get them off doing the freezing attack, also use the undead soldiers when the grab is available and use square, best way to pass that challenge is to throw the gorgons off the platform

I did it!! Thanks to this video helping me. Here's a tip I used for Challenges #8 and #10, roll towards an enemy and press X to flip them up in the air, while you're up there immediately do the L1+O move to pound the ground and toss the flipped enemy out of the ring. That's the only 2 moves you need. Do them over and over and over again until everyone's dead. One more Gold trophy to go for the Platinum, the Beat the Game Under 5 Hours Trophy..... wish me luck.

1. Use Artemis sword and attack with r1. Enemies fall with ease 2 ignore the bats/harpies. Kill the rest of the enemies using Hades magic, might of Hercules and lance of the furies 3. Use 2 hit combo usung square attack just like grappling the jars with an octopus tentacles 😁 4. The best way to kill 4 minotaurs is to petrify them and crush with light lance of the furies. Your magic is adequate to petrify 4 minotaurs. 5. The pattern is to pull the arrow just before it shoots then watch the undead about to step at the 3'o clock area of their platform. Pull the arrow and usually the undead is hit just right at the 6'o clock area 6. It's a simple test of timing and correct jumping. Grab archers and throw them forward using square 7. Use charged lance of the furies on air. It knocks off the enemies. May still get hit and retry 8. Use charged lance of the furies on air and might of Hercules. Be careful when the gorgons freeze you at midair..cancel immediately and roll away 9. Cyclopses are easily defeated using spirit of Hercules, it takes 1 to 2 combo to kill one. Beat the satyrs using might of Hercules (optional) 10. No guaranteed method and may repeat many times. The best attacks are *might of Hercules - effective in throwing satyrs sideways *lance of the furies - knocks Cerberus babies *Apollos ascension - knocks target on air if successful If you have rage of the titans keep them until level 10 and use near the end to ensure greater chances of reaching top.

For challenge 10, you can use Hermes rush (R1) when the Satirs start to attack you, if you push them with your shoulder, that will stagger them, causing them to cancel their attack and then you can calmly do the air circle combo again.

For the #10th chalenge i found it MUCH more easier to spam L1+ X All the time ,you can knock them and at the same time you do dmg to the litle ones instead of using the L1+O to smash the ground, that leaves you valnurable . also Rolling saved me many times instead of "blocking" what a joke

Rounds 6, 8 & 10 are the most infuriating/hardest ones imo. On round 6th,most undead archers often shoots you & make you fall on the pit.Need to rush & jump between platforms to the finishing one. On round 8th,rolling,along with the Achilles's Flip & the aerial charging Lance of the Furies are useful with the dual chained blades of Chaos/Athena. To use with proper timing to avoid a rock freezing death from the Gorgons due to the Furies's slamming lag cooldown. On round 10th,those annoying staff wielders (Satyrs) can interrupt/counter most of my combos. Using Lance of the Furies will often trigger them to grab & throw me off the platform causing instant death.I have died countless times & finally managed to succeed by using the air triangle slam attack with the single blade or Artemis,even tough it leaves Kratos vulnerable on the ground due to the landing lag cooldown. So precise aiming is crucial to ensure the attack doesn't miss.

Challenge 8: stay near the edge when you do L1 + O. Wait for one or two gorgons to use beam, then you do the L1 + O. Be patient - its not a race. Challenge 10: go in middle, spam L1 to block/parry. Once you parry, press square. It will do a move that will throw most of them out. You need proper timing. Learn it. Luck still plays a role since satyrs and dogs can be super aggressive. Keep going. When i was literally in the air to reach the last platform, a satyr jabbed at me and i fell. If that didn't break me, you can def do this.

finally!! got the trophy. level 10 tips: just spam L1+X (bcuz basically u are up in the air, so the enemy cant push u down). if u use L1+O together, quite dangerous bcuz once u do the ground smash, u have period of cooldown in which the enemy can push u out. when u are at the edge, of the arena and about to fall, dodge using (R analog+X) bcuz once u dodge and after that press the jump (X) button, kratos will do a swinging motion in which he will lift up on the air again (as less time on the flat surface, enemy cant push u down) towards the end, use Rage of Titan (R3+L3) and spam square until the platform reach the top n u can safely jump out

Also, here's a tip. When the half of the platform is revealed, use rage of the gods, triangle only. Once the platform is visible for a jump, jump to it. Completed, but its going to take a long ass time for sure.

I finished this Challenge of the Gods many times before. Here's my tested strategy 1. Use blade of Artemis and attack the enemies using thrust R1. More effective than grabbing them 2. Same strategy in this video 3. Same strategy in this video 4. Use medusas gaze at each minotaur, then quickly smash them one by one using L1+0 5. Same strategy in this video. Its all about pattern and timing 6. Jump quickly and fluidly from each disc to another. A little luck is needed here, pray you don't get hit by an arrow while jumping 7. Push them all out by attacking L1+0. Don't do it if a minotaur is near,it can attack you 8. Same strategy in this video. Patience. Knock them off. Cancel L1+0 if medusas gaze is directed at you 9. Same strategy in this video. A massive attacks at cyclopses using 🔺🔺🔺 10. I found a better way. Use the 🟥 charge attacks to knock them off. Alternate to L1+0 at appropriate times. Save rage of gods, use midway and jump at next platform asap as possible.

Think of the soldiers' platform as a clock. Have R2 pressed while you watch the soldiers. When an undead soldier is near 1 o'clock (or maybe 1:30), pull back on the left analog stick to ready the bolt. When the bolt releases, it should hit the undead soldier as he rounds 6 o'clock.

Thanks to this video a ran all the way through first try up until 8 which only took 2 tries. Once I got to 10 though.. I'd make it to the end just to be impaled and tossed over the shoulder of a satyr into the abyss. After a good 25+ tries I got it though. I platinums God of War 3 on the PS4 2 days ago, God of War Ascension platinum yesterday and God of War 1 platinum today. Need only 1 more trophy for God of War 2 so I figured I'll wait until tomorrow so I could get 4 GOW platinums in 4 days.

By the way there is a easier method for challenge 10. Just do the block + x attack and then hold the block button and spam x.
