I use the OREI Hdmi splitter to record ps3 with my elgato. Should work on any console and bypasses hdcp. Hope it helps

I prefer the PS2, but I did pick up a PS3 slim a year ago just to play Saints Row 2. The best investment I ever made, my original PS3 died while playing dark souls.

i dont get the hate for the ps3 controller, i mean i know why people dont like it. but i love it. its one of my favorite controllers ever. honestly the 360 controller is 2nd to ps3 one imo. also gow 4 and 5 are sequels canonically and you can play 1 and 2 via ps plus streaming although their servers suck a lot of the time.
