IMHO Geese parry is the best in the game. To deal with Jin, avoid to finish the last hit of your strings if the Jin is parry happy and then launch his ass when the parry whiffs, it's not always possible to parry on reaction in strings and has to be guessed on the Jin players part. Also don't do big slow moves in an obvious maner, if you do Drag fff2 often I will catch on and parry it after a couple of times. Also there are plenty of attacks that won't result in any punishment, 1 and df1 are examples and even some bigger moves with fast recovery like Raves ff3 can't be 24'ed. It's quite hard to mindlessly parry things they way you could in T4, it only works if I have a hunch of whats coming and if I tried to parry every time I will get baited and launched.

Travotski projectiles, knees, rage arts & drives, elbows, pushes, and grabs.. Idk about lasers, but you can just side step, duck, or use the CDS.

i prefer about to connect because u need to be at a pro level to guess a coming attack except rage attack

Parry's start up animation is 3 frames. Preferably you start parrying when the attack is about to connect as close as you can. Because if you start to parry when the opponent starts their attack animation, it's still a gamble since your parry animation can end faster than the attack they're throwing.
