If it's not working that way ^ then plug an Ethernet in, power off your ps4. Then hold the power button on your ps4 for 7 seconds. It'll enter safe mode. Click update ps4, update with internet. And if an update is available (like it was for me) it should fix it.

Error NW-31295-0 ,well this didn't work for me ,i chose custom ,selected my wi-fi ,it asked for password ,wrote the password and the error pops up . I tried different hotspot but it gave the same error for each ,using LAN cable it works fine but i dont want to use it as it gives the error NP-40831-6 , i was using hotspot to play games now it wont connect to it ,help if u find a fix for me

Sheral Khizar now if you got some one mad they could have got your Internet and password and put your WiFi on their router and they could live half across the world and that could be why you don’t connect but idk

Hey guys , see if you changed your network frequency bands , if you don’t know how to do that look up a video , it’s most likely you got it set on the wrong setting and it has to be automatic so it can pick up that’s how I fixed mines
