Hello .. i have a ps4 power supply that works for seconds then it shuts off the pfc works fine at 400v but the 12v out is getting down slowly until 10v then it shuts off ... adp240ar 5 pins

@@screen-protector i am libyan engineer Ii do repair power supplies and do dc dc solutions I am tech with more than 8 years in playstation repair and selling parts locally .. but this power supply really had a weierd issue .. all works great for seconds .. but the 12v outpot is going down slowly until it reaches 10v the shuts down I have changed the dda00 ic and 18n mosfets as primary issue .. but at testing i got it shutting down the way i explained

I also use the serial bulb for testing and the 4 watt resistor for discharching the main filter caps .. i got it safety first dude

@@M.altarhoni2024 well, than you should know how electronics work ;). If you don't, can kill you still :D. But, as per repair. Something either is causing the short, or not producing what should ;). So, I'd focus on finding these two. And, if you don't understand how ICs are working, you can type the name of the IC in google followed by word "datasheet". Than check the pin out. So, this way you'll learn where voltage comes in, and other things like enable, or what's happening on the output. Apart from IC's, the rest is a general electronics knowledge ;).
