I ordered a used PS4 on eBay, as soon as I got it and started loading into a game (Spiderman) it gave PS4 getting too hot error and shut down multiple times. I watched and followed this video, my PS4 was NOWHERE near as dirty as the one in this video but following these steps got mine working again. Thank you and great job.

What was the size of the Phillips on the inside? I had one too big and ine too small and couldn't get them out so I had to stop at that point, just a few minutes in!

does anyone know the right size of a flathead sceewdriver to take off those torque screws? I've seen people use flatheads to bypass then so you don't have to buy the tool

@@featuringrageyt3103 just the power supply cant make it over heat. I have seen one ps4 7100 series that would turn off because the power supply but that one did not beep before turning off or show a blue screen with the ps4 is too hot message. Is that what is happening to you?

This looks pretty simple. Im busy and traveling but I'm betting years of pet dust and airplane mode that my PS4 looks just like this one. Ive cleaned all the accessible dust with no luck. Such grimy dust i needed to use a brush on the fan. The heat sink has gotta be pretty bad.
