Not a lot the system can offer above the slim other than the extra USB port and larger HD? -4K media streaming -Sata 3.0 HD compatible (Potentially faster installs, boot up and shut down time and download and upload speeds) -Being able to stream and record in 1080 60fps -Remote play and Shareplay in 1080p - USB 3.1 port -Better PlayStation VR experience.

Pro because it has a faster speed processor and will still upscale games (that are capable) for a better visual graphic experience. However, you wouldn’t be missing out on much if you’d rather spend $100 dollars less on a slim with 90% of the same capabilities.

You're right! If most of your games you going to play are not optimize for PS4 pro, there's no need to buy PS4 pro. Also, wait out and see. Maybe PS might release the bundle you like. Who knows right? You won't miss you much now if you own PS4

For someone debating to buy their first PS4 the pro is a no brainer IMO, but as an upgrade for someone without a 4k tv it doesn't make a ton of sense. There are benefits to be gained for 1080p, but nothing huge enough to warrant spending $400 when you already own a PS4 system

Does the pro have overheating problems cause my slim PS4 stays somewhat cool but it is kinda warm and sometimes really warm which kinda worries me so I use a cooling fan and a regular fan and I might buy a laptop cooling pad for it too. Basically is it better than the slim in terms of staying cool

My younger brother is like the true gamer in the family, he said that a list of at least 30 ps4 games or so will not even run on the pro day 1 and hadn't announced anything in regards of working on that, Destiny was the biggest game he mentioned. I am no expert on the matter but I had thought that the pro would run all ps4 games like any normal ps4, plus the added features for certain games that go that extra mile, so was he talking nonsense or what's the deal here?

All PS4 games will run on the Pro, they'll just perform like they do on a regular PS4 unless they have a patch for a special pro mode. So yes, the number of games that benefit specifically from the pro is a smaller subset of games, but it includes most recent AAA titles and PS4 exclusives, and as time goes on most major titles should support it as well.

if you system gets shut off mid game cause of the button being pushed MAYBE just MAAAYYYYBBBEEEEE you shouldnt have your feet on the system. (aka the ONLY way the PS4 would get shut off “by accident”)
