For those asking about the motor removal you have to get at it from the other side. There are 2 screws and a belt on the opposite side remove. Easiest to watch a video how to remove the entire drive and connect the dots that way.

Hi there! I got a Ps4 Slim CHU-2116B No disk feed aswell but I did check the fuses and they are all fine, I'm checking BRD parts are good (no stuck all parts working well), and tiggers on smal motherboard are good they works fin continuity when actives but theres something with motor.. It shows 8~9 Ohm but it has continuity on their pins

Hmmmm .....i godda check that out ty i wonder how much it cost mine not doing anything either and thats error code su-1184-6 i think ill check and update if not its the fuse everything looks good and new and the disk button works but nothing else turn on perfect as well

Can someone help me. My ps4 1215a doesn’t have no power when I try to put a disc in but when I shove a disc in and press the eject button it works. Also when I put a disc in when it’s off it doesn’t turn on. I also have 1 trigger missing on the insert eject sensor. Please help

Nice video, i have 2 ps4 pros, replaced F6202 fuses nut BD Rom drives take a disc 1 time but never seats it, eject works all the time. Replaced both sensors and motor, cant see any other issues, i guess both drives need fully replacing, all other mobo fuses have continuity unless the Motor IC is the issue but not sure how to test that....

Can't test that sometimes you just need to switch it. When theres a blown fuse often a chip or other component is blown as well

i have a ps4 slim with same problem. its not getting any power. but all the triggers are still on the board. would that still cause no power to blu ray lens and the motor?

The drive motor ic chip might be the issue if not the fuses or disc arm sensors.

the ps4 will also not recognise that ther is a BluRay discdrive, and therefore can not update. It gives you the Code (cant remember it) that it can not find a diskdrive

Usually it's one of four fuses that blow on the drive board

Just switch the board with a new drive.

How do you take the motherboard and motor out?

Not sure if you got an answer to this but you have to remove the entire disc drive. The motor has a rubber band belt and 2 screws holding it in place. It's easiest to watch a disassembly video to remove the disc drive and connect the dots for this but you have to get at the motor from the bottom if you can't solder like this instruction.
