[PS4/Vita] Atelier Escha & Logy DX - Ancient Beast King (Is Logy the Most Overpowered Protagonist?)

Beating the Ancient Beast King before his second turn.
Logy is probably the most overpowered protagonist in the series (followed by Totori), since his Plasma Break skill immediately gives him another turn - similar to Anna from Mana Khemia. As long as you can keep the Support Gauge up, he can easily move 4 or 5 times each turn.
PS: You can technically two-shot this boss (see my earlier video), but I used suboptimal items/properties just to demonstrate Logy's special support skill.

Try this site if you can read some Japanese: game-cap.com/terry3ds/ It's usually easier to just steal from NPCs.

I dont think logy plasma break matters when you're able to one shot or two shot anything in almost any atelier game lol. Logy is indeed overpowered if only items aren't OP like mana khemia or iris. when it comes to skills, i think the character from meruru, the childhood friend guy and that king is even more OP, they able to spam their skills infinitely. I refuse to use them in my first playthrough cus i heard they're op as hell with the right set up, in 3rd playthrough i absolutely demolished everything and the boss never had their turns and they dont need even need buffs,

They are not protagonists. The protagonists in these games tend to be physically weak and overly dependent on items (Totori, Meruru).

@@manaphylv100 true, given the nature of the alchemist, logy is the weird one, hes close to blacksmith with his modern alchemy. In term of gameplay iris would be OP too, but im not sure if we can include her since what makes her broken is a bug, rhino attack thingy skill deals ridiculous amount of damage for some reason, i dont remember the details since i actively refuse to use it, but i tried once and i able to dish 20k in non burst mode, that was stupid. Other than her, if you dont include items, then yeah logy is indeed pretty useful for an alchemist without items. Ryza should be able to one shot anything solo but thats because tje nature of the game where she able to stack and unleashed every items she carried in one go,

@@manikaditha6308 I haven't played any of the games after Firis, because no dub = no buy. Besides, the later games (Shallie onwards) have become way too grindy if you want to find the best properties and complete the compendium. Anyway, a lot of items and skills in Iris 3 are bugged or not working as intended, or just poorly translated, so I almost never used items beyond the basic potions. The two MK games have the same issue, and items are even more useless in those - you literally do more damage and wait less with normal attacks. I like the three Arland games, where items are useful, but not overly dominant like in the Dusk games and especially Sophie/Firis. My only complaint is that all the best properties in Meruru and Rorona Plus only come in the postgame or NG+.
