I never used the Xbox Elite? But me Pesonally I would say the Astro C40 cause you can use PlayStation Layout or Xbox Layout but if you playing on PC get the Astro C40 but keep in mind it only has two paddles the elite has 4 but all depends on your budget and what you like best for comfort

@@teny.3837 ok well for PC the Astro C40 is good, PS5 DualSense or you can grab Hexgaming or Scuf controller just depend if you want 2 or 4 paddles

@@teny.3837 yeah then Astro C40 would be the way to go if you want the software, features the PS5 DualSense is good too but to adjust that software you need a PS5 so you can save the settings, now hex gaming or regular PS5 controller are good for PC also and Scuf they are plug and play just with Scuf controllers they don’t last very long especially if you are a hardcore gamer

Nice congrats on your new PS5, but a way to make Astro C40 work with PS5 games nope it works on PS4 games only but the next best thing is to order the PS5 DualSense Edge controller that is similar to the Astro C40 with just about the same features or more

@@dirtsapient9638 that mod device umm nope PlayStation patched that long time ago, and blocked it so people wouldn’t buy it, it use to work but doesn’t no more cause with that device you had to buy another wired Playstation controller and plug into it then plug Astro C40 into then it would work and register as a PS5 controller but that don’t work no more won’t even register it at all.

If you got a ps4, you can use astro c40 via remote play to play ps5 games.

my best controller in mk 11is astro c40, however the buttons wont slide like ps5 with Ps5 u dont ned to press buttons, just slide from triangle square, x and circle, However in the same time no controller has a better D.pad than Astro c40 in mk 11 and mk 1 and all the rest of the fighting games i have. Analog users can stick to PS5 in my opinion (due price). c40 is a real good controller and u can buy so much than more than wats in the pack or from them, u can buy parts from different producers. My price the way i mod. my c40 is 440$ :) PS5 is only 80$. i boyght mine 3 years ago, still no drift problems, howeveri upgraded them for a 5r year warranty analogs

Genial, puedes usar PlayStation en PC, solo tienes que volver a conectarlo a PlayStation para ajustar la configuración y tal vez algunas de las funciones no funcionen, no estoy muy seguro.

Ps5 controller makes my hand hurt after 1 hour when playing cod or r6. But astro is so good for the long gaming sessions... ♥ Been using my astro c40 via remote play on ps4 pro to play ps5 games 😂

after 3 years of using my astro c40, c40 still the best. waaaaay better than dualsense. the fact that software can easily be adjust from its app and dualsense that u need to buy the app or u need a console to adjust its settings.

Yeah well if you want to play on PS5 and play PS5 games then you have to use the DualSense if you staying on PS4 or PC then Astro is cool maybe a version 2 will release one day

The C40 is the controller Goat. Sony blocked access to PS5 games at the system software level. They essentially killed the market for innovation. Only Sony can make true ‘pro controllers’ now the rest are working under some form of handicap. They are now free to charge half the price of the console for a 2023 ‘pro controller’ way inferior to the C40 developed by Astro 6 plus years ago. And Sony go moaning to the regulator about Xbox ?

Yeah both controllers have there pros and cons but they both still awesome controllers. If the C40 could work with PS5 games would be a hard controller to beat

Not the same at all. Astro is simply superior. Software is not limited. Can set responsecurves how i like. Where sony trash always got first 10% limited and locked at any of them responsecurves. 95% games also have sluggish curve with humongous deadzone. Astro can cure that.

Well yeah PlayStation did lock the PS5 Dualsense only to PS5 for a while but now you can use it on PC and customize it with the right software, if I had a PC I would do it, but I don’t but wonder if I can do that software changes on a macOS 🤔 definitely have to look into it
