I just started playing The Last of Us Remastered on PS5. On PS4, if you turned off the dualshock 4 speaker, it would automatically route the "shake flashlight to recharge it" rattle sound to your sound system speakers... In my case, to my Astro A40 amp/headphones. I went into my PS5 settings and turned the dualsense speaker off (i.e. turned it's volume down to zero) but I get no rattle sound when I shake to recharge the flashlight. Wondering if I'm missing something.

Doesn’t matter the sound that comes from the dual sense controller is barely audible, you have to hold the thing to you ear to hear anything, might as well not even have a speaker on it.

Ummmmmm you can hear other people talking through the microphone while the ps5 controller is laying on your bed. Wish Xbox controllers did this, so you wouldn't pay money for new headsets everytime

Question sir: When editing video clips on the PS5 the audio isn't coming out well despite the sound being clear when playing. Why is that and how do you fix it? It almost sounds like the audio is going through the controller not the headset on the video clip, but when we're in a party chat the voice is crystal clear and loud. Any help would be awesome. Depending on the headset it could just be the way the mic is coming across in the video record. Otherwise, I would try unpairing and repairing (or plugging back in, if wired) and see if that helps

Chatting with brand new duals sense controller while playing games like warzone, using Speakers, makes sound returns into mic itself making your friends experience bad or the built in mic is able to exclude sounds from speakers?

My mic is okay. But I cant heard the chat sound, the volume is too low. The game sound was playing on the tv’s speakear and the chat on the dualsense. The TV was not loud, and I simply didn’t listen my friends in the chat. Maybe the dualsense speaker audio is low, cause if it was loud, the audio output of dualsense speaker would disturb my teammates on the game, because of audio return.

@@JohnHammer I tried to change the warzone config and also the ps5 config, but nothing chance. The ps5 dualsense speaker volume was at maximum. And then I put the chat volume on Warzone config into maximum and nothing change too. 😞

In the Audio setting you should be able to set party audio to come out of your tv speakers

@@SuperFoxofdeath no way to make it go any higher than its max at the moment. It seems like they made voice chat come through this low purposely because if someone has their mic on and another person's voice is picked up by the speaker right beside the mic, it would cause crazy feedback maybe?

If it is all the way up on the PS5 then that is the loudest it goes. Unfortunately I wish it was a little louder too but it's cool they at least introduced it as a feature during this generation

If its like mine and voice chat is unbearably low, than its not a setting. I can hear all controller speaker noise just fine in other games but in online fps like cod the voice chat is stupid low. And I'm guessing sony did this purposely because it would echo like crazy with the controller mic being right beside it. Still stupid that it doesn't boost up when you mute the mic.

Sadly mine varies some games are perfectly fine while other games right now I'm playing axiom verge 2 and it's deafening and I can't turn it down when I have a headset into my controller but when I play other games it's perfectly normal. I really need to fix that

If the saved data was uploaded to the cloud through PS Plus you should be fine

If every other option didn’t work then I would recommend initializing the console as a last resort. Make sure that you have system software downloaded on a USB jump drive as the initialization process deletes this from the PS too. To answer your second question, you can set your games to Auto Upload to the PS plus cloud storage so that you don’t have to keep manually uploading the game save data to the cloud.

Shiwar If you go into the audio settings menu you should be able to change the sound coming out of the controller to go through another route (tv, headset, soundbar, or other)

The sound menu bar along the bottom changes the party chat volume. If you're not in a PS party chat you can change the chat volume within the game itself under its audio settings

OK here’s my issue For you to be able to use that Mic to communicate with teammates the audio must come out of the controller speaker will not come out of TV. Which is pretty dumb so basically you still need a headset to communicate with her teammates. I cannot use a headset when I’m at work waiting on cars to pull up sometimes 30 minutes sometimes 45 minutes I like to play Apex while I wait. SONY FIX THISSSS
