You're quite an honest person, that's why you'll always be successful in what you do, some people won't be so honest to tell a person that buying something will be cheaper than fixing, as in the case with the woman with the printer that you told her it'll be cheaper to buy one than to fix, hats off to u brother with your honestly and you will reach to great heights and beyond 😉 keep up the great work you do....all the way from Trinidad here 🇹🇹

It's unbelievable how someone is able to do such damage in one shot... I recently got in SMD microsoldering and while It's really a matter of practice, skill and technique (and equipment) even in my very first attempts I was clearly aware when I was on the brink of damaging the board or components... Well, guess we have another Hiroshima! 😅😂 Keep up the awesome job with the channel and thanks for every bit of knowledge you share with us! It really means a lot!

I think the reason that the number of prior repair attempts has shot up is because of videos like this inspiring people to try a self repair ( or set up their own business) and then finding themselves out of their depth. I soldered fine pitch components in a factory and I am hesitant to attempt board repairs myself as it's so easy to rip a trace or swipe a microscopic component away. I still think people should keep posting repair videos though. I found the iPad Pro 10.5 video really interesting with it's defective inductors that just fall off the board. Disclaimer: I only ever try to repair my own stuff and so far I have been successful ( except for one google pixel 4 where I just can't get hold of a replacement lower coax)

At 8:57 when you "hot air" the small capacitor the big capacitor further away did unsolder and did a jump. After that jump the one leg of the big capacitor seems a bit loose / not properly soldered anymore. - But in the end the ps5 did work, so it seems fine. - Edit: Ah, i see at 9:44 it is fixed and the big capacitor jumped back to the state "properly soldered". ;)

Where I live people want to fix printers because they want you to work for nothing, like charging 15 bucks to fix it. And if you tell them that it is better to buy a new printer, they will not like it. A different mindset.

@oneandonlytyler1

i disagree,exposing the whole board to heat when you doing a hdmi is abit excessive as you could damage other parts of the board,all he needed was a bigger tip

@@oneandonlytyler1 If you are watched a video, you might know what he lost it. Not necessary to heat up whole board, it's possible to do with a small bottom heat, like 2*2 cm or 5*5cm modules. They literally costs few dollars on Ali. Nothing will gonna get bad if you will heat it up a bit, nobody asking you to heat up whole board to 250-350 degree Celsius.
