People are great stupid. Blackmyth Wukong and FF16 were not PS Pro patched. The games that were not patched are not going to have the optimization. Elden Ring was not patched. The games that were patched are performing great. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Exactly. Ff16 is NOT PRO ENHANCED. Whay don't they get about that? It's only going to be about 35% increased framerate without PSSR at best.

I love my pro and don’t understand the hate lol. If you can’t afford it then don’t buy it. Tbh I highly doubt most have the TVs to take advantage of it anyway but it looks and plays great on my oled c2

the fact that it improves games before those games even get an official ps5 pro patch is even better. so of course those games need a patch first to take advantage of the extra power.

@overdaroadgamer8231 it does though.. if it's ai upscale, that means you'll have more graphical issues than true 4k. Ai upscaling is great, but it shouldn't be marketed as 4k I'd it's 1080 or even 2k upscaled. Otherwise, people might falsely buy into it thinking it's the same and can be enhanced further with upscaling.

@Bluestarferies then I probably can get equal performance from my cheap pc. I upscale my old ps2 and GameCube to get 2k 60min fps. I don't play modern games to know if I can upscale them to the same. (If I do, I just get a nvidea to auto config.)

A lot of game are just badly optimized. If you look at Insomniac games, they have more than 60fps with RT on high, and 4k. The Pro is definitely capable if developers have a good engine and know how to take advantage of the machine.

I want to see people doing a comparison between digital and disc, since disc can reduce some of the burden put on the console assuming full game is on disc.

"We may get (60 fps) on a ps4 to ps5 or a ps5 to ps6..." There were 30fps games on the PS4 and also on the PS5... What do you mean when you say we may see this performance boost when it is nowhere to be found? I am playing a PS5 Pro right now and I believe I'll be returning it, as the improvements are nominal...
