It would make sense to announce PS5 Pro at Tokyo Game Show. I've held off and have been saving money little by little so I'm pretty much set on getting a PS5 Pro; even if it launches at $599.99. If the PS5 Pro releases at holiday 2024, it's going to make Nintendo push to announce/release their next console soon. If the PS5 Pro has better cooling, more stable locked 60 fps games with improved visuals & ray tracing... I think that will be enough to warrant a purchase even at $600. I'd also like if the PS5 Pro supported 2 expandable NVMe storage slots. Storage is more and more of an important thing and right now 4TB NVMe are pretty much the standard maximum size available from reputable brands. I also hope that the form factor is not as weird. I'd rather have a more square shaped console that doesn't require a stand.

The PS5 Pro will come out next year because Sony needs thier 1st party game to show the power of the PS5 Pro. Sony needs a price cut. The digital version should be $299 or $250 , the slim should be $350 and the Pro should be $399. I do agree I will not pay for the Pro for $499. Get better my friend✌🏽🙏🏾♥️♥️♥️

It won’t be that cheap I’m sorry. Those 399 days are over for any top end console from Sony and MS. I think the switch 2 will be 399.99 now. The issue is that price for components are higher across the board from AMD and Nvidia and I’m sure Intel isn’t much cheaper when it comes to APU costs to their customers. That doesn’t count all other costs as well. These companies are not going to continue footing the bill and losing money selling the hardware so I see PS5 pro being 599 and Sony only making enough for the people that will buy them. If people don’t buy them they will buy standard PS5

@@PillzBerry27 they won’t. They have the resources to look at all angles to ensure if they lose money, what impact is and if worth it to do. It is going on year 4 since launch of PS5 and they have yet to price reduce any of their console skus and I don’t see anymore than a 50.00 drop in price for the holidays and that could be a stretch as they might just do a bundle of a game instead of a price drop. They are not dropping the price of their now dead PSVR2 and if and when they do it will only to be after launch if the PC adapter and sales of those headsets don’t move the needle for PC VR players and will want to dump the inventory before end of year. People will buy the consoles at 499 and 599 as the value is there and for now still beats majority of entry level PCs for playing PS games library

Truth is on the Internet and everything is happening with the development of EU power electric consumption regulations . The thing is Serious no matter what we think. Advice is less AAA Games 20% of the Generational sum . 8K TV'S didn't pass the regulations and all TV'S received updates ( downgrades ) . 8K is out even 4K is not the target but it's about optimizing rescaling Algoritams. PS5 could output 8K using maximum of 300W but they stayed on 210W. Everything is clear and simple but gamers love making things up 😂 I don't understand why especially after power scaling transformed into new efficiency measurements. 😂 People are talking about things they don't know but they could use an Internet search engine and get real information . Ray Tracing will be just equalization of the price and that's all, you shouldn't expect support because it's not easy to make games like this because resources are limited by law. Wait for MS Windows Subscription and all new trends that will be hard to accept but it's happening.

Me, but only because my PS5 has been fucked for half a year now since I decided to clean out the console and install the M2 SSD. My ps5 constantly crashes (like turns off as if it were unplugged) from ranges of 30 mins of gameplay to 2 hours. Helldivers literally will not let me play for more than five minutes before everything goes black. I’ve changed the outlets, checked the a/c/ power port, and changed power chords for new ones but it still crashes. So yes I’m getting a ps5 pro sadly, mainly bc I want the best experience on gta 6, but I will not buy the ps6 at launch and probably just wait for the ps6 pro or ps7 bc after this generation I’m strongly wanting to switch to PC.
