100% Physical games. I won't be buying ps6 if I can't own my games. The price of your digital games will skyrocket when there is no longer competition in the retail market. Ubisoft already shut down a bunch of digital games that people bought. Yes you will not own your games in the digital future. Aside from prices going up and you not owning your games eventually the quality will also go down as what always happens in a monopolised market. If you like AAA games, not paying to much for them and actually owning them then STOP buying digital. O won't feel sorry for all the cry babies in the future. YOU did this to gaming.

Whatever the ps6 price, it should have a disc drive for the money. Not all people have internet access and if digital replaces discs, then prices will soar with no real ownership of game. I have 50 -50 split with the games i want to keep on disc. I'll take the extra minute to change discs.

Physical copy’s are much better simply because you can resell them if you get bored with them. You can’t do that with digital games so digital should honestly be cheaper since you can never sell them when you 100% them and never play them anymore

Digital deals are better on PC and physical deals are better on console , at least where i live. You can get a new physical copy often about 20 bucks cheaper than a digital version. Just checked out the new Yakuza game that is coming soon and It is 10 bucks cheaper with free shipping if you want a physical copy. Plus the second hand market here is still strong so you could sell it easy later on.

I Preferred Physical over digital for the simple fact when you order a collector's edition you get a statue you get a map you get a CD soundtrack you get everything look at what you get for the PS2 you got for Silent Hill you got a physical CD disc and for a bunch of other CDs physical you got the statues like I bought God of War 4 I got the statue and for other people that got God of War they got the statue of ring they got a map for Tomb Raider I got and then you get to collect the disc and keep it and if you don't want it anymore you have the privilege of turning it in for something else and getting part of your money back for it or you can keep it for nostalgic purposes or for your collection digital is trash to me because you can't do anything with digital all it does is take up your space and if you want to play that game again you have to re-download it you have to re-download it because you deleted it that makes space for something else digital is just a big space hog

The pop-in argument of PCbots is the bullshitiest of all. You can see gameplays at max settings and all the pop-in is right there. The promise of 0 pop in and nanite, ray tracing, no impact in on performance is the biggest lie of UE5. they not only scammed gamers, but also devs that hopped on UE5. And all of us gamers...ALL OF US (this includes consoles and PCs), got blurry Vaseline ghosting games that look worse than games that came out in 2018... But look at the Ray-Tracing.. just make sure you don't move your character🤣

So the idea of disks is that the game is complete, ready to sell, and ready to play. The idea of a game on disk means that it is complete, not needing patches, updates, or cash shops. ps4 pro didn't have ray tracing. Switch 2 which is almost as powerful does so visuals will look a lot better on switch 2 than ps4 pro.

@@dailyhubranxeven verified games on the Steam Deck doesn’t guarantee optimisation, due to the open nature of Steam, where as Nintendo will optimise their games due the fact that their games are make with their own hardware in mind, sure Nintendo is behind in technology but they make up for that with great games and you don’t need me to tell you that Nintendo not chasing graphics fidelity and tera flops has put them in a much better position than Sony and Microsoft in the long term.

Good Evening Ashley. Thanks for the nice video. To answer your questions: I am 50/50 with digital and discs - its about owning the games for me, because you don't really own digital games. With Nintendo, you buy the system because you want to play Nintendo games. The PS5 is like eating at a Michelin Star French restaurant. Nintendo is like eating a gourmet burger and fries. Both meals are satisfying. It really depends on what your mood is. Finally playing games with a female protagonist, as a red blooded male, I don't mind that at all.

I’m prefer physical games over digital, there’s something special about opening that physical game and it’s true ownership, I’m not opposed to digital games as I own a few digital games for my PS5 but the ration is 98% physical vs 2% digital. I have no loyalty to any of these platforms, if PS6 has a disk drive then Sony gets my business, same with the next Nintendo console, as long as Nintendo continues supports physical games.

It should also be pointed out that the statistics are horribly skewed as they count every dlc item as a digital sale it's not just physical game sales vs digital games it's physical vs literally Everytime someone hits the download button on the store for something. Think of all those skins people pay a few dollars for each one of those is counted as a digital game sale.

Heres the thing. If PS6 has no disc drive, you really can't call it backwards compatible. All those ps4 and 5 discs won't run. Theyll lose some brand support over that. Personally, i love my library. I'm good with replaying games on the 4 and 5 and there are loads I haven't played. I dont need a 6 if there's no disc drive option.

Why can't we just buy digital Playstation games and have a right to download them from a library and be able to store them in a USB drive to be downloaded into our consoles so we can have quick digital access to them yet also physically own them? Nintendo is just staying in their own bubble. And that's great because they invented new stuff, and other companies try to follow Nintendo, but always fail like in handheld consoles or making their own switch version. Only the playstation portable outsold 1 handheld console from Nintendo, and that was the 3ds. Other handheld consoles failed like the playstation vita the second non Nintendo most selled handheld. I know Nintendo consoles are weak and don't have the greatest resolution, but Nintendo top priorities are fun and gameplay, not resolution, cinematics, and speed like by playstation and xbox. Nintendo is doing their own thing, and that is making them a special company.
