It didn't work for me with these range of bolt values, i tried a couple of times, varing the number or replays of the challenge 2. In my case I always end up with a negative amount of crystals, but it slowly builds up the amount by it self while changing the planet, but the game crashes at a certain point we it goes positive.

I'll attempt to find a fix. i believe autosaving the game in the level (like with a platinum bolt, weapon buy or something) makes it change state? but also, i know that because it is a memory glitch on ps3/ps3 emulators, that the time on your file also matters to the values. like if you take too long to get to tabora (hours on the file) it may not work resulting in the wrong crystal numbers. its either something with the time on the file, or i will have to see what speedrunners do to stop the negative crystal count.

Hmm i'm not quite sure as it hasn't happened to me before but, i forgot to add in this video to make a backup file in case the trick goes wrong all i can say for now is try again aaaa sorry

@Error347cz ohh damn sorry to hear doing it on ps3 or the ps plus streaming? i know it is a ps3 memory thing so it doesnt work on ps2 sadly

@@aidenelliott9609 i mean i just wouldnt expect that the runner would have a million bolts in ng, as opposed to ng+ But yeah it must work the same

Just did it bugged out my save, do as the video says, but, if it says u need crystals or says change x for x (normal) do it again, go to Tabora, farm a little, upgrade some weapons they go up really fast, change to another planet, buy something, use it, get some hp, go back to Tabora, and pay again, i got 13million crystals lol, thank you!!!

@@AGuyChillin welcomee There are people in the ratchet speedrunning community who understand this quit exploit better than I but i thought i’d make a quick tutorial so more people can have fun with it It’s a neat timesave for max% or even just casual playthroughs :) Also it’s really funny seeing thousands of crystals and the memory eating through all of ratchets outfits plus i think in max% they redo the trick or something and get 250000 raritanium for maxing out the ship lolll

After doing the trick, loading the saves and trying to do it till it worked it fcked my save, ive got everything but the armor said (impossible to buy) thank god i had a save on my usb from days ago (final boss) and started NG+ and farmed 1m to buy the non bugged armor.

@@AGuyChillin ahh i see sweet im glad you had that file xD Also based, xem is great i have been watching him for like 7 years now lmaoo it’s where ive learnt most of the funny speedrun tricks I used to do runs of rac1 and 3 and maybe one day will do it for fun again xD
