O yes. Awesome that you got a ps5. Welcome to the family. I recommend getting the stray game. The cat game if you don't already know about it. I'm so glad that it got a physical release for ps5. Also I recommend kena bridge of spirits. Astro bot play room comes with the console. The game fully uses the controller. It's amazing.

May I suggest getting an external hard drive to use as cold storage for your PlayStation 5 titles if you feel a compatible internal ssd is a little out of your price range at the moment Also congrats I barely got mine as well so I know the feeling of joy at finally getting one after almost 2 years of searching Enjoy it

As a nearly 40 year old fully disabled combat veteran who lives on a fixed income it took me almost 2 years of saving before I was FINALLY able to get one 22 days ago. I will say I was quite shocked at how HEAVY this console is…it was much heavier then I expected. Idk I guess I just assume that newer usually means lighter but definitely NOT in this case haha. Were you surprised by the weight of it? It’s amazing how many different consoles I’ve owned over my nearly 40 years of life. GREAT video and I really hope you enjoy it for many years to come!!

@JesterHavoc A 100% rating is $3,332.06. That’s NOT much when you consider that’s all you’re getting, no chance for OT/time and a half etc. or when I consider how much more I could’ve made if I never joined in the first place. I joined because I grew up in Boston and personally knew people who lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks. I was in high school when it happened and I remember telling my best friend at the time as soon as we saw the second plane hit, I remember my exact words: “Well fuck college, I am joining up! You DO NOT FUCK WITH AMERICA!!!” And then when I found out a couple days later what happened to some people I care about it made any lingering doubt vanish, I knew for a fact as soon as I graduated I would be joining up, which is exactly what I did. Of course I didn’t plan of getting hurt on my second deployment. As much as I’d love to make it seem all badass like I was in a firefight or got hit by a roadside IED as you know if you served the reality is much less “cool” than that and that 90% of the people who serve don’t get to do that shit. I was hurt due to an equipment failure on the R-11 refueler I drove (it’s a 6,000 gallon fuel truck) and the hoses on them are extremely heavy when not evacuated because Jet fuel weights 6.7 pounds per gallon so when the hose is full it’s so heavy in order to pull it out you literally have to sling it over your shoulder and get a running start. Well long story short the hose reel broke and I ended up getting taken off my feet and fucking my back up. I finished up my deployment and when I got home started trying to figure out what was wrong and outside of two ruptured discs they couldn’t find anything else. Well after I was medically discharged several years after that I went and saw someone who found all the issues. Unfortunately they progressed to where some are permanent mainly the Degenerative Disc Disease and Spinal Stenosis. Plus because of the STUPIDITY of our country when it comes to pain killers I can’t get anything for the pain that I live with EVERY DAY, and I won’t buy them off the street because I don’t want to go to jail. I won’t even get into how idiotic it is that people VILIFY those of us who need painkillers and yet they think drugs like alcohol and tobacco/nicotine are PERFECTLY FINE!! Anyways I wish you luck on getting your rating. How long have you been waiting? What are you currently rated at? When did you get discharged? What are you trying to get rated for if you don’t mind sharing that information (if you don’t want to I understand)?

I’ve actually recently considered saving up to buy a Switch, however I don’t think switch has any of the sports games that I play or RDR 2!!! It seems like a kids handheld IMO!!

It’s definitely more for family fun, I only wanted it to play Smash lol but I’ve been wanting a PS5 for awhile and I finally got one coming in, there’s games I wanted to play that are only on the new gen consoles so I’m stoked

I was miraculously gifted one around the launch of the PS5...still can't believe I got one. I've yet to play Horizon but I did finish Kena Bridge of Spirits not too long ago and it was dope! There's a lot of heat dropping on PlayStation 🔥🎮🇨🇦.

I’m glad it’s getting easier to obtain a PS5 now. I’ve seen them online restocked here and there these past months and I can’t believe it’s been two years already since launch, which was when I managed to get mine. Honestly, the charging station was one of the best purchases I've done since I bought my PS5. I really don't like to have a buch of cables around my console and I always have once controller fully charged no matter what. So I would totally reacomend using all the time.

I got the PS5 with the horizon game 2 weeks ago at Target. I was lucky guy because I just stoped by the store to buy my new lap top and asked the electronic guy for fun if they had one but they did have one PS5 (same as yours) came with the truck in the same day. Nice! And the 2.1 hdmi cable and you can watch 4K movies as well. Tip: Don't use hdr and go gamepreset settings and keep it in resolution mode for crisp graphics. I absolutely love my PS five I’ve been had it for going on two years next month I got it last year for Christmas from my husband. I love the new layout of the PS five is way different than PS4. The gameplay is really smooth as well.

Hello. Glad to see you got a PS5. Very exciting. I got mine about a month or so ago, same bundle no game included. I got the blue controller with mine and yes it very nice looking. Plus the charger. I will say I use the charger a good bit and switch back and forth between the white and blue controllers. BTW is we you have a Nintendo Switch too. Cool. Anyway have fun with it. 😎

Congratulations on getting a PS5 I managed to get mine through Amazon because I wanted to order a headset to go with it. I also want to get the blue controller alongside the purple one (and the purple faceplates) my fourth controller might be the gray camo that just came out since it might have the fixed stick drift issue that the Blue Pink and Purple controllers had when they came out. I also plan on buying a stand for my PSVR to store that too.

Congratulations on getting a ps5. I know the feeling I have my ps5 console for a year and it's an amazing console. If you want as a free game the ps5 also has Astro's playroom pre-installed but you'll love it. Whenever you want along the way upgrade the ps5 console storage since on the box it says it has 800 gb internal storage space but actually it has 600 gb of storage space because it needs 200 or less for other features and it's reserved for it to work properly and since you got Horizon Forbidden West, that game alone is incredibly huge like right away it'll take up about 100 gb or around 90 gb since it's a huge game but Congratulations and I hope you enjoy it

@@Leikavee I got my PS5 a few months back and I ended up getting a second controller too, because I often run the batteries out in one gaming session, and much prefer playing wirelessly. Having a second controller and a charger is perfect. I have a charger which charges both the Joy-Cons and the Pro controller for my Switch, and it means they are always on hand and ready to go. You won't regret having those for your PS5 at all, and in fact you'll come to be really happy you have them. As Cindy said, Horizon Forbidden West is an amazing game (as is Kena, though it's much more simplistic). However, I would highly recommend playing Horizon Zero Dawn first, if you haven't already played it, because that's a magnificent game too, and you don't want to play them out of order. I'm so excited for you! There are so many tremendous exclusive games on the PS5 that I've hardly been using my Switch lately...

The charging station is very handy for me being able to quick swap controllers, and charge without the ps5 on or in rest mode. :) Plus if you get a third you can charge that through the ps5 ;)
