Nice setup! PSA is a great company. 300blk does great in short barrels. I Went with 8.5in recently over 7.5 since it gets a full powder burn. Anything in 7.5in to 10.5in works well for 300blk since supersonic bullets still get good velocity and energy and subsonics stay under the sound barrier.

My 300blk is a aero upper and ati milsport lower with laser and flashlight combo and red and green reflex sight and magpul grips with a single point sling and Shockwave gen2 brace and 8.5 barrel

Personally never had any bad times with PSA stuff. The 7.5 is still plenty accurate and gives plenty of velocity. Loud as hell though lol.

Just picked up one of those on the Labor Day sale. Looking forward to shooting it. I’m gonna order a 6 inch suppressor for it because it was recommended by Palmetto and I’ve never had a suppressed firearm before. I’ll have to change the hand guard I’d like the hand guard to go over the suppressor I like that look. I think I’ll put a cheap red. Dot on it and a no-name flashlight as well but so far I like it. can’t wait to mod it up. 😎

I got this in 10.5" with a 11.5" rail. I had a pdw lower but used it for another build (8.5" tucked suppressor) I recently threw on a minimalist stock, but it kicks like a mule! The Slate Black hand stop and guards I just added go well with the cuts in the guard! Any thoughts on why it kicks so much or what I should do? I'm thinking adjustable gas block but will that fix it? Is it due to the type of stock? Also, do you know of a suppressor that will fit or do I need to buy a different handguard? Thanks broski 🍻

I just bought the exact same gun from Palmetto. The question I have (as it's being sent to my ffl dealer) is do I need additional paperwork or pay for tax stamp on this? Curious if I need to do those things. What makes this gun illegal per ATF?

Who said it’s illegal? The brace is what has been debated back and forth and currently still in litigation. If anything they would just sell it without the brace on it. Tax stamp is only if you plan to register it as a SBR and put a stock on it. If you leave it with a brace or with nothing it’s a pistol as of right now.

Got an olight on my fn 509. it’s a flashlight that turns on every time I push the on button and shines light to see in the dark…just like every other light

Just saw this. Nice build for sure. However i think that is the model that has the flash can permanently attached, so there is no way to suppress the weapon. .300 Blackout was designed to be suppressed from the start. I looked at one of these uppers, and although they do look pretty bad ass, I went with a 8.5 upper with no BCG or charging handle. Its cheaper, and I have a couple Spikes nickel boron BCGs as well as Sons of Liberty Gun Works. I havent decided what to run yet. Either way ill drop a Bravo Company Gunfighter charging handle in it and call it a day. Nice build Man, but I think you would want to suppress that thing.

So I ended up with a WMD nickel boron bolt, I ditched that joke of an Olight, and I have since added the sylvan arms folding adapter. Pretty much left it alone after that. I have a couple small ones for pistols, and they work ok, but on a larger build I use Stream light. More expensive, but worth it in my opinion. You should do a video on that side folder for sure

It’s all from Palmetto State Armory. Yes the lower has to go to an FFL, because it’s the part with the serial number on it. The rest can ship to your door

@@joemcginnis1718 it’s an ar pistol…it’s not going to have the range or accuracy to make a decent rifle scope necessary. This is why unless it’s a precision setup or hunting application you don’t see traditional scopes on AR platforms

@@RidinDirtyOutdoors the 7.5 has a very cheap red dot on it and i love it for plinking its a ton of fun with the flame that comes out the front. The 12.5 has red dot with flip to side magnifier and is a 5.56 That gun performs just as good as my 16inch rifle with same set up. I thought id be alittle less accurate with the shorter barrel but not at all . Out to 100 im about 1 moa

Having a red dot that you can make really small with the 5x magnifier really helps. I wouldnt reccomended red dot at all tho for going any further than that
