I built a 8.5” 300bo s bunch of year’s ago but it shot 6” groups at 50 yards and was expensive. PSA never seems to disappoint

Unless you’re shooting tens of thousands of rounds in a year you’re gonna be fine. Just upgrade the barrel after

@@n0ob4u barrels have improved a lot in the last 10 years. The barrels I started with were kinda junk so 12 moa wasn’t that uncommon. Today’s Bear creek would’ve been black magic 10 years ago

I like the sightmark for the price and what it is. Holds zero just fine. Only two issues i had with it (opinion) the reticule selector switch is a little shifty and the other issue was when it got ran in a defensive course the wire glue came off the underside of the housing and the wires were jumping around and rattling in the sight. I still have mine and run it on a 22 plinker now😊

I picked up the PSA 7.5" upper with the intent of switching out the barrel to a Faxon 7.5" with a 1:5 twist. Looking at a PSA pistol lower. I run that same Sightmark Optic on my current AR and have not had an issue with it. Thanks for the vid!!

I have 2 Sightmark R specs that are still going with the original batteries for almost 3 years. I have both on shotguns but 1 shotgun took a dump. They are still going strong and have been great at holding zero. Tho they are not Eotecs I dont regret buying them!Best budget red dots I ever bought!

I have the EXACT same setup, except the backups are magpul because they were gifted. I really like that sightmark optic, it’s really good.

Thanks for the video. I just got 7 inch, havent ran it yet. Ive had the 10.5 for 2 years and put about 1k thru it. Taken a few deer with the AAC 110 gr black tips, works great. I'm going to run 500-1k thru the 7 inch and use Vmax 110s for HD. Probably just throw flip ups and a light on it.

@@RidinDirtyOutdoors Sick build, brother. I can agree. That PSA 3.5 Match trigger is crispy AF! Super nice trigger. Usually less than 100 beans. I have one on my RF15 and love it. Probably as crisp and clean as my CMC 3.5.

I have seen that most PSA 300 uppers cycle fine with supersonic ammo, but most do not cycle subsonic ammo. Do you shoot much sub ammo in yours? If so, did you have to swap the spring or buffer on it?

@@44Mag yea typically have to play around with gas settings once you get into all that. Adjustable gas blocks and the correct length gas system are key.

@@ArtByKevinZapata it’s really just about QC and longevity. They run and will work, but it’s kind of just a matter of time before you’re replacing barrels and BCGs compared to higher quality brands. Most of my PSA and budget stuff are range toys and have others for more serious “duty” style work
