One thing to be aware of with the C-1 slide, or any of the Micro Dagger slides, is the optic mounting screws that come with the gun. I used those with a 407k and the right screw ended up hitting my extractor spring assembly and creating stovepipe after stovepipe. Make sure your extractor isn't getting snagged on the right optic screw.

Yes that is good to make sure. In this case the screws are sized properly and test fit for length before mounted. Installed with a torque wrench and witness marked.

The screws mine came with bottomed out before the optic got tight. Simple email to psa and I had replacements in 3 days. Granted I had already used a grinder to modify the original ones, but now I have an extra set for free. 😂 One thing about PSA is their customer service is unmatched imo.

From the video, the Dagger was recoiling noticably less. The OEM had more muzzle rise. Now the Dagger slide on a 43x MOS frame is great.

Picked mine up yesterday and put 250 rounds through it. Flawless function. Trigger is much lighter than my 43x. Happy with the purchase.

I have the micro c-1 and haven't had any issues but only 150 or so rounds through mine. Everyone that seen mine really liked how it felt in there hands and I like how it feels too.

The comps work. Hand a Specter Comp to a small female shooter, and then hand them a standard XL...you'll notice the difference and so will they. One of the female instructors at my job, she loves the X Macro Comp slide.

It’s probably the optic screw. I had to file my screw down to keep it from touching the extractor plunger

Cannot wait to get a werkz owb for my pl3 on whatever gun I decide to carry. Universal holster based on the light is a great option for dudes who shoot a bunch of different things but still want a holster that's concealable and usable at most classes and ranges. Alot of places I've been able to visit just don't like iwb and holster training period

If you have to spend the difference in what you saved, by buying the dagger, in ammo to break it in, then just go with the Glock.

The issue with that is, you want to run about 200-500 through any carry gun before you consider it good to go for carrying in terms of reliability for the ammo, mags and firearm function. Don't get me wrong, if you were to put the two in front of me and tell me to pick one without ever firing either and have to carry it, I would grab the glock, but that doesn't mean it's a better firearm, it just means it's got a better reputation being out for as long as it has. I love my glocks and will trust them with my life, but that's also because I've put 2500+ rounds through each of them and know the pain points. I also have a psa c-1 I just haven't been to the range to shoot it yet. I got it as an option to compare to my friends 43x and see how it performs.

I’m a big supporter of PSA (believe me I have the credit card bills to prove it 😉)…I will eventually grab a Dagger Compact next time they hit around $250. BUT, if you’re going to put 1,000-2,500 rounds (roughly $500 worth) through a gun before you trust it, saving money isn’t a concern anymore, nor should it be. Buy the Glock and be done with it. Get a lightly used one, LE trade in or certified factory rebuild and you’ll save enough to put an extra 100-200 rounds through it. Or you’ll be able to buy a really nice holster or two for it. Now, if you’re looking for a second/third/forth/fifth 😜 gun to have fun at the range with and maybe carry at times or stick in the truck just in case (after you find it to be reliable enough of course) then I say great! Getcha one (or two) while it’s still affordable!

From all the vids I've watched the Dagger Micro has some teething issues. Enough people have issues I'd pass on the Micro for atleast another year. I snagged a Shield Plus I dont see any point in getting another tool.

That ejection pattern is really inconsistent. Makes sense why its malfunctioning. I hope PSA can get the bugs out but with the QA problems that their known for, and SOTAR video on the mag problems ill pass. If your gonna do something, do it right or dont do it at all.

I like your video. It's possible the Dagger Micro Compact is prone to feed problems. Or it could be that comp. A true test would be to shoot one with a standard slide. Comps seem to be pointless on small frame pistols

Notice that the chubby guy is the only one who got stove pipes or any malfunctions. I have a feeling he's riding the slide with his support hand. Could be that you've put a screw in that was too long on the extractor plunger side. Considering that it only happened with the chubby guy, I doubt that. Nothing against the chubby guy, he's just going to have chonkier meat hooks.
