Elitism is rampant in the firearm community. There's a time to "buy once, cry once" but a gun like this makes for an excellent entry handgun. Its the best platform/gen for parts availability, extremely affordable, and cut for an RDS if one decides to go that route. With the sale PSA just had, I picked up one with suppressor sights and an RMR cut for $288. That's unheard of outside of HiPoint, Sccy, and the like. Some of them have some sick looking cuts, threaded barrels, and barrel coatings as well for the same price. I try to stay away from them as they just allow more stuff into the gun, but still nice that they offer that. Not to mention anything of their affordable and satisfactory AR uppers, their new PA10 Sabre, their Jakl piston rifle, and their super affordable ammo line they've started (AAC). PSA are on top of their game

I am probably the furthest thing from most of your audience: a fairly liberal athiest from Minnesota. I have a kid now, and I was looking for info on a good way to make sure that if someone were to try to harm him, they wouldn't be successful. I've been binge watching your stuff now! I've never been anti guns, but taking the time to hear your views and learn some more about guns has been a great value. Now I'm thinking of looking for a carry class if I can get the wife on board.

Fred, I don't mind you being an atheist, but if people mean your family harm, how are you going to send people to meet God if you don't believe in Him 🤣 I kid. Self-defense, and the right to live relatively free from threat of physical harm should not be a partisan issue.

Getting the wife on board always seems to be the kicker but I want you to think about something. As the husband and father, do you see it as your responsibility to protect your family? I would assume so based on your comment. if you do, my advice would be to not let anyone get in the way of your natural desire to protect them, even your family. Get some classes, attempt to sway your wife every chance you get and arm up using the best thing you can afford and upgrade ammo, platform, etc every chance you get. Find what works for you and never stop training. And for the kiddo and general safety get a good gun safe, there should be no unauthorized access. Good luck.

Outstanding Review. PSA hit a home run with the PSA DAGGER Pistol 100% American Made in Columbia, South Carolina. U.S.A . I liked it so much I purchased one Fullsize and the Next one will soon be a compact. It's my everyday carry on my Job as a Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator. I often have to confront wild dangerous animals. My backup is a 9mm Carbine Rifle the Ruger PC Carbine and the Kel Tec Sub2000 9mm carbine rifle. They all take the same Glock magazines and in same caliber. I have taken several Wild Boars with the 9mm Pistol and the 9mm Carbine Rifle dropping Hogs on the spot. 🐗🐽A Rifle & Pistol that uses the Same Caliber and Same Cartridge Caliber is a plus for survival and self-defense. Same. I love mine as well. I got the version that has the rear sight in front of the RMR, which works great, and still works as co-witness, but just letting you put your eye to the Red Dot first. Broke in the trigger with about 500 pulls (which really wasn't gritty from the start at all) and it felt great. You can even further polish it if you'd like to, but it runs smooth. Also, PSA definitely did address the walking pins, and other issues in the past pretty quickly.

I actually use one as my EDC. My only gripes are the trigger and slide stop. Both were easily rectified with some Lone Wolf parts to make it silky smooth. (*Edited for some typos). I’m not your typical Glock fan boy, but I do own a few G19 mags both OEM,PMAG as well as others. So getting a dagger was a no brainer. I have a hard enough time sticking to the calibers I have, and not having to buy more magazines, well that’s a plus. I Have about 400 through mine. And aside from a stiff mag release button it runs like a champ. The front of the mag well / front bottom grip has a pronounced curve that was giving my pinky a little Glock knuckle rub, but an after market mag well insert fixed that. For the money, a Glock ish pistol that has features almost identical to my EDC, I may have to get another. And their blemish sales are unbelievable.

PSA is cool for what it is. A lot of snobby people talk down on them. Those types of people make it hard for newcomers to get into gun stuff. A world of knowledge and experience and they want to talk crap about a company because it isnt their brand. Makes the AK vs AR debates look trivial in comparison. I've found the best carry comp to be the strike industries micro comp, the circle version. It's actually clockable so that you have a left right and up port. It doesn't vent all the way around like other micro comps do(which therefore increases the actually compensation effect, the whole point of a comp). It's about 40-50 dollars and comes with 3 high temp o-rings as well, so good value there.

@@cavalieroutdoors6036 Didn't know about the Suarez comp but I'd avoid them purely on the owner's bad rep. But at least they had the right idea. People keep buying the Griffin or HB comps and they are just a concussion device. Holes all the way around. It makes actually no sense. It's not hard to make a proper micro comp. Make extended thread protector. Drill hole across one side, and single hole in the other face of the comp, to make 3 holes. Left/right/up. Boom done. But then you have people on forums that install the top port facing down and saying the comp works well... People don't even know what they are buying or how it's supposed to work.

I tried my hand at a couple 3d printed glock frames, and for the life of me couldn't get it to run reliably. When I saw PSA selling a complete lower for 60 bucks, I jumped on it. I don't get to shoot much, but the 50 rounds I put through it so far with that lower, I didn't have any issues. Which I know is almost nothing, but the printed lower would only get through about 3 rounds before it'd have a dead trigger.

Fantastic gun. I have 2. Neither one has failed me- one of them has over 800 rds through it.

It’s a great value! The only negative is the mag release isn’t switchable for left handed. Not a deal breaker but for a lefty releasing the mag is with your trigger finger as opposed to a righty with your thumb. Hopefully PSA will address this with later models.

We have two in the family. They are nice to shoot and go bang every time. There is nothing special about them, they just work. I would definitely buy again and I'm sure I'll eventually give in to those sales to try out different color combinations and slide cuts.

I don't mind the stock trigger in mine. I did grow up shooting double action revolvers. It is enjoyable to shoot at the range.

You need one of those Austrian suppressor the one that locks on to the frame it might only be available for the factory Glock frames tho and it doesn’t affect barrel and thread on to it that fix’s the accuracy and reliability about Glocks 💯

People make fun of PSA but they have great warranty and they're putting mil spec ARs and now the dagger that are simple but quality guns that will get the job done for most people, however I think that most of the people that make fun of them are enthusiasts that seek out more expensive tools but that doesn't mean PSA makes junk
