Love it and...Since you asked... Suggestion: The ability for it to cycle 1-3/4" 12-gauge shells would be fabulous. (The Shorties by Federal and Aguila, for example) If your team could pioneer a built-in adapter between these Shorties and standard size shells without needing an Opsol adapter...that would be amazing. Thanks! Can't wait to buy one!

What you are describing already exists. There are already a ton of semi auto shotguns in the style of AR. There are AK style 12g semi auto, there's bullpups, all kinds of crazy stuff. And a lot of that crazy stuff is on sale RIGHT NOW at PSA, from other brands tho

@@atomicsmith 1200 FPS on 00 Buck is nasty. I agree more manufacturers should do more mini shells, but Federal does have the blue box 6-pellet 00 Buck and it's nothing to shake a stick at. It's just not available all the time .

I think a PSA hunting shotgun would be really cool with 26/28" barrel options. Even better if you had a walnut stock/forend available. Maybe work out a deal with Boyd's for a basic furniture set. These are suppose to use 870 furniture. Mossberg 500 type action and safety. With 870 furniture thus the 570. Personally growing up using 870 wish they would've used the 870 action but I understand that the safety placement is better on the mossberg. Very interested in how this one turns out.

Not sure if possible, but I would also suggest consider doing a universal mount (ghost ring / rail / like Adam’s CROM mount) or could you do a universal receiver tapped to allow multiple mounts… maybe interchangeable w 1301 / rem 870 / 590 so literally any mount could work on it?

Combining the moss 500 with the furniture of the 870. Is a great idea for a pump and the advantage of the pump is cost along with the ability it run anything. I'm afraid if psa tried to do a semi it would run hot loads and not light loads or vica versa. That and most of us psa guys are poors. Pump ensures the cost stay low.

I would like to see that front barrel band reduced in size to something more like the magpul shotgun forward sling mount, obviously it would have to be a little larger than that to house the front sight, but I think the current one on the shotgun in the video is massive and could be reduced in size quite a bit.

On this shotgun design, the clamp does much more than just have a sight and a sling point. It's a clamp first. Time will tell but it's likely this much surface area is required for rigidity and durability.

If they'd only answer their phones before you make the trip to one of their retail outlets that's out of what they claim online is "In stock". BTW, I have zero reason to buy this shotgun as long as Mossberg and sons is in business. NOW, if they could make an American AK-style shotgun that cycles low and high brass like the Kommie JTS AK-12s and 12-T1s then I might be interested. In more than just 12 gauge too. We need 20 and 410s too.

It's not as hard as it seems. Takes some practice, but what doesn't for southpaws. Little sweep under the trigger guard and it's good to go. But I agree, ambi would be nice.

@VangComp standard releases are perfectly fine, but where it's at currently is very awkward. For a tactical shotgun a sweep under the trigger guard just isn't feasible. It won't affect their bottom line much, but I don't see very many leftys wanting to pick this up otherwise. I'd pay slightly more for the configuration.

This is a great idea to provide a custom look and function on a 570 build . I definitely would want the Tactaload Flash 5 stock for extra protected shells and easy access if needed. That stock in orange with a matching forend will be a perfect package. The gun is custom when it arrives. I am looking forward to it.
