@@ARProformance Hi Ahad. Here's a session idea. Racquet-Face Angles. Differences/benefits. Under shoulder height, above shoulder height. Forehand/backhand. Open, flat, hooded. How it effects direction/spin. This is the single biggest issue with my students (and many other coaches).

another great instructional youtube clip showing the 1-2 punch combo! the palmer straight kill to the short line is quite a challenging shot for amatures to execute properly. if the ball is not glued tight enough to the side wall it will definitely create opportunities for the opponent to counter attack; as one of your later clips demonstrated. rather than executing a straight kill ala palmer, i think it would be a less risky shot to push the ball straight to the back of the court and to apply the proper weight of shot to create a dying length. such a shot would require less power (than the kill shot) and therefore be more accurate imo.

Thanks for sharing Nicholas. You hit the nail on the head. Anything that is tight to the side wall will squeeze the opponent. If one is more comfort doing that with length, I absolutely recommend sticking to that. Over time, adding shots to the repertoire will only add to the natural deception bucket. I appreciate your continued support 🙏🏼 - Ahad

I'd never really thought to attack from 3/4 length like that, would always just punch it deep again. Will give the kill a go, particularly on the forehand. Looks like it would be brutal to complement with a 2 wall boast from the same spot to break the pattern. If you're looking for video ideas, I'd love to see a comparison of backhand techniques and how it varies so much amongst the pros.

I love the way you're thinking! Keep creating patterns and testing them. Your boast option will be deadly if you already execute that shot well 💪🏼 Thanks for th suggestion, and thanks for your continued support. I hope that you keep gaining lots from the channel, - Ahad

Thanks Seun 🙏🏼 I'm glad that you're learning lots! Each player is different (preferences, styles of game etc), so they choose various total weights vs balance etc. Plus just general feel for each individual. Then there is the sponsorship piece too!

As always, a thoughtful presentation. But also, nearly as always, a 4min-30sec set-up before we see any squash. That’s a long drive in to get to the action.

I can understand your concern. I like to provide context, perspective and details before getting to the analysis itself. I see those elements as the foundations, without which the video part loses meaning. - Ahad
