Every year in december I come by this video to enjoy your performance. This is the 16th year. Many years to come. I hope you four are well and enjoy a good time with your beloved ones.

such well-matched voices :) not just tone, but pronunciation, and alignment of the sibilance and plosives. makes me wish i had three friends who wanted to sing like this!

Love, love, love this song! My children attended a Lutheran school where this was sung as part of their Christmas program and I never thought I would get to hear it again! Thank you so much!

You guys are amazing and sound angelic in everything you do, but the Alto especially in this piece moved me, gorgeous timbre. Please keep up the great work and if you are at all inclined to accept requests... sicut cervus from palestrina would be a nice treat to hear from you. thanks again from So. Ca.

My children attended a school in which they learned this song as part of the Christmas Eve service. I had despaired of ever hearing it again and was ecstatic to find it here, and sung so beautifully! Jouah 1994, where was this region?

Translation of chorus: Sing! to the firstborn to Christ, son of god to the merciful god to the little child lying in the manger.
@inesdeerausquin56586 жыл бұрын
ElAurian it's actually "sing to Christ, the only-begotten son of God" - "first born" would be "primogenito. "
@KeylaJoy13 жыл бұрын
we sang that too

@Obknoxious2000 thanks for your beautiful words... "Sicut cervus" is a little bit difficult for us... but we could try to sing it in the future, so keep in touch ;-)
@inesdeerausquin56586 жыл бұрын
The I.C. if you can sing this you can sing Sicut Cervus - it's slower, so you have to carry long phrases, but in any other way it's probably easier than this. Great singing! You have a great sound for this style of music.

I just saw your Sicut Cervis video. Well done. You made it look easy.

Lovely! But where did you get that second verse that starts with "Sing" echoing that notes for Psallite? I need that verse to stretch this a bit, but can't seem to find it. Thanks!
