Psalm 106 - The LORD’s Mercy to His Covenant People

Psalm 106 describes Israel's sin and need for God's mercy. It mainly focuses on the repeated failure of Israel through her history but also shows God's great mercy to Israel despite their failure.

Thank you, David, again for encouraging us and we pray you are equally encouraged. What a God of SO VERY much mercy, continual and consistent forgiveness, never giving up on us despite my sin over and over again. Praise Him. May He, please, continually keep us from rebellion, disobedience and unbelief but keep us close, praising and remembering and being thankful for God's overwhelming goodness and good works to and for us, and all underwritten by the greatness of our/my salvation. Thank you for drawing our focus to praise and obey God through your teaching. Why did Moses stand in the gap? Those Israelites caused him endless agro and trouble!! They 'caused' him to loose his place in the promised land (yes, accountability!) He'd have been better off if God destroyed them and 'replaced' them.
