Today is April 1, 2021. Today is Maundy Thursday. Psalm 116:10-17 will most likely be read or sung in churches today. And may we all remember the commandment that Jesus gave on this night to "LOVE ONE ANOTHER" (John 13:34).

I am currently resting on this psalm as I wait to have a biopsy on my lymph nodes. God gave me this psalm as I was praying/crying out to him. Praising him for his answered prayer!!

Psalm 116 couldn't have been written by King Hezekiah. He wasn't born until 300 years later.

You are correct... Psalm 116 is one of the Egyptian Hallels (Psalms 113-118), not one of the songs of ascent (Psalms 120-134). Psalms 113 and 114 would be sung before the Passover meal and Psalms 115-118 would be sung following the meal.
