I know many who are not Christian. It is hard. It's like walking in a minefield. I know "christians" who don't live a Christian life. It can be stressful as I try to encourage using scripture and praying God will reveal himself.

I'm thinking that in the O. T. the holy sprit came upon them for awhile, then left them; I think that that would almost kill me, wud likely be my greatest fear if I thought it could occur, so sad for them in those days, to have that occur, what a crushing.

I've thought that John Dewey was the father of postmodernism, late 1800 thru 1940 ish, also possibly of child centered rearing (child empowerment, no rules boundaries or disciple, but primarily friendship with our child) creating an emotional reasoning culture, where logic has become subservient to emotions. Creating the stereotypically dysfunctional millennial, not a time of birth but an attitude that's been around a long time.
