I cried out to Him this morning. And He our Abba Father answered.🙏

Pray for revival. These are dark days for Scotland.

Ian M Darker still than when you wrote this. Many of us have more time to pray but are we doing it? Pray for Wales too greetings from the land of revivals. Last revival 1904, overdue maybe?

@@roberthill146- indeed, but I find them a tad funereal - the way these are sung makes my heart heavy: are psalms not supposed to be more of a praise and worship platform to raise the soul 'nearer our God to Thee, nearer to Thee'? A change of tempo, perhaps?

I'm listening to this while looking out at Loch Gairloch on a cold and drizzly day in August. The austere melancholy beauty of Scotland doesn't seem so bad sometimes.

1 I waited for the Lord my God, and patiently did bear; At length to me he did incline my voice and cry to hear. 2 He took me from a fearful pit, and from the miry clay, And on a rock he set my feet, establishing my way. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, our God to magnify: Many shall see it, and shall fear, and on the Lord rely. 4 O blessed is the man whose trust upon the Lord relies; Respecting not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

I found the tempo a tad funereal - do you not agree that the psalms were intended as a praise and worship platform? This funereal tempo makes my heart heavy...

Does anyone know who starts this singing in this?
@CrazyRev Жыл бұрын
If you are asking for the personal name of the specific individual in this rendering, then I certainly don't know. However, the "title" for the person who starts the singing is the "Precentor".
