Yes Pastor David, I had been bearing fruits of repentance for a while before God came to me and by his Holy Spirit led me right into the arms of Jesus. Hallelujah! I was born again that night in my bedroom. I had been seeking God and truth while letting go of the sinful sins in my life. I gave up going to the bars, promiscuity, and marijuana. I'm so overjoyed that my name is written in the Lord's Book of Life. What a great message.

I'd be glad of your thoughts on this. I know I am saved, Praise God, but 'fear' Christ's judgement of believers. I have been faithless, backslidden for years, had wrong motives, not worked for him, have no fruit, buried my talents, wasted my life and opportunities, and the list goes on; I deeply regret and confess, asking His mercy and forgiveness. I can't change it and can only go forward with the aim and purpose of glorifying God in everything. But.... I'd appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Hi Sue, Sorry for the late reply. Yes, yes, yes!!! Go forward. You have acknowledged your sins, and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness. We are forgiven in Jesus. Praise the Lord that you have a felt a holy conviction over your failings. That's a wonderful work of the Holy Spirit, showing you where you have been wrong. The convicting work of the Holy Spirit is to turn us around and back to God, and that is happening to you! So I agree with you. Leave the past in the past, walk in God's grave and forgiveness, and move forward with God!

You have to confess to a priest not to GOD because GOD knows what you did. Confessing to a priest is the right way. Jesus said to his apostles confess to each other
