YES, I have experienced peace in the battle(s) because the LORD is faithful & trustworthy. I had to learn to trust the Lord & how to cast my cares on HIM, and not take the burdens back nor worry. Still growing in the grace of GOD. I so understand the desire to fly away and the grief of betrayal from those close to me-family, from those of your own flesh & blood. I too, have been like David and betrayed familial relationships. The imprecatory part of the psalm, makes me uncomfortable. I understand the writer's sentiment and have experienced the same emotions/feelings/desires, to make war on others and for vengeance. Yet, I have no place to call forth punishments & destruction on humans, because Yahweh is the only true & righteous judge.. I can own my own sins and repent. Because, "vengeance is mine says the LORD", I can't take things in my own hands, yet, I can ask the LORD to wreck the camp of the enemy,, dismantle the strategies of the evil one and the demonic.I can seek the LORD'S face," to come before HIS throne of grace, to find mercy & grace, to find help in time of need".

Ahithophel, of whom it is said “his advice was like the words of God”, essentially infallible, turned on David because David killed his grandson Uriah the husband of Bathsheba. Ahithophel knew it was a losing proposition to oppose David, but he was very angry because of the betrayal and murder of his grandson. David brought all this trouble upon himself, as usual.

Thanks for this explanation. I would have drawn a comparison, as well, with the sin of Moses. There's the temptation to take things in our hands and avenge ourselves, like Moses did with the Egyptian. David, instead, left things in the hands of God and trusted Him to bring him justice. He only knows the right time and ways to carry this out.

This video is talking about exactly what I'm going through. My ex husband laid the angriest wrath on me when he decided to take away my kids from me. I never harmed this man but he always comes back to eat me ruthlessly like hes eating fresh meat. Hes the worst enemy my life has ever landed on, everyone wherever you are please pray for me so I win the court case to get my children back, or even that the court sitting happens as soon as possible there is. I am going through a very slow death, I cry on a daily and my heart pains soooo much 😪😪😪😪😥😥😥😥😥😥

@aliyafichtner8843 I could have literally written this and absolutely feel your pain! I haven't seen my 3 year old daughter now for almost 10 months because her dad hates me and has told lie after lie about me and I genuinely believe, if he thought he could get away with killing me, he would. Our poor, innocent children are being watched over and protected right now by their Good Father in heaven. We HAVE to keep speaking God's word over them and the situation, cease all fighting in our own strength and trust that the battle is the Lord's and He will fight for us and our children!🙏🏻 I do hope your situation is much better now, and I pray one day very soon, I will be telling a different story too!🩷🙌🏻

How on earth does one ever recover after such a treacherous sin that David did to Uriah? How was David able after committing such a sin to then go back to God in response to the treachery that was being committed against him and pray that God would take vengeance when David himself received mercy? I know that Jesus had not come yet but we are told Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; Then to make matters worse for us Christians we are given the parable of the unforgiving servant. Matthew 18:21-35 Yet I admire David that he could stand up and pray to God that God would take vengeance whether or not his foe repented BECAUSE OF THE DAMAGE Ahithophel was doing to Israel. After 9-11-2001 it became clear to me that we have treacherous people in our country and in Israel who want to see our representative democratic republic form of Government taken down as well as fomenting wars among nations for profit of the big corporations. The treachery in these corporations and the billionaires and trillionaires who seek to use their fortunes to advance agendas and gain global power. The secret societies who control the money and the power and the child abuse and rape that accompanies these people who have enough wealth and secret power to buy themselves out of anything through clever lawyers and cover themselves with layers of hit men. Genocides going on all over the world while we only constantly hear about the treachery against the Jews in Germany and never mention the role this nation or this people has had in subversive activities ie The Lavon Affair The USS Liberty or even 9-11-2001 false flag or the Palestinian genocide going on right under our noses while mindless Christians cheer all Israel does in support of them. Treachery is a difficult item to bring to God simply because we ourselves have built our country on the ruins of other nations through false pretenses. Then there are the failures that we as individuals have allowed these things to happen without a clue or a peep. The liberty & prosperity we enjoy is being established on the treachery we the US and Britain & Israel have done to other nations while pretending to build them. You know if this does not stop the Chickens will come home to roost. Treacherous people foment wars through false flag actions then stir us up to fight their battles then make a huge profit off it then are going to stick us with the bill. How can any one pray for them bless them when if they should receive such blessings only woulld use them to do more evil more corruption & corrupt more drug smuggling sex abuse on ever higher and higher levels of deception & treachery. Lord if they were only Gone and their evil secrets revealed to people that still have a conscience & the good they keep from happening maybe we could all avoid the disaster that is coming to us which we all richly deserve. Christians seem to be so absorbed with keeping our gospel pure that we do not see all the corruption mass murder that evil people in positions of wealth and power are using to destroy murder enslave & corrupt our mission fields and Christians in other nations who must suffer because of our nation's policies & the policies of Israel. Why are we so blind to this problem? Whats the core of this problem here? Are we all under some witches spell?

How do you pray for the bus driver when your bus driver is driving over innocent pedestrians & tossing some people riding the bus under the bus when you yourself are riding on the bus and you stole your ticket. When we ourselves are sinners and at times have been treacherous ourselves how can you pray for the bus driver to bless him with a bigger bus more passengers and protection? You cannot pray for the strengthening of the wicked while they are still being wicked ruining lives murdering stealing raping pillaging deceiving the passengers and being supported by the laws of the bus can you? How could David ever pray his prayer against the traitor when he himself was a traitor to Uriah and even KEPT Bathsheba for his wife and SHE GOT IN THE LINE OF JESUS. David did not even pray that on the way to death that Ahithophel might get saved when David himself was shown mercy. If David were reading Matthew gospel from the future his conscience would be totally tormented by praying the imprecatory prayer. Yet he prays it with a clear conscience of being right. Some place in our Christian lives we ourselves we must be capable of praying imprecatory prayer. There must be a place for such prayer for at least certain individuals perhaps even hidden individuals or applauded individuals even for us Christians to use this terrifying weapon and be justified in doing so and have no need for a bad conscience after doing so. I do not think we can outwardly identify those traitors all the time but we often have at least some idea that something is rotten and a few hints who these might be. We do nor want the treacherous people to prosper or continue to do evil corrupt enslave etc.
