This is the exact video I've been looking for! Just ordered my first psalmopoeus- a 2-3cm pulcher sling from SML. I was nervous about my tank potentially being too big but this reassures me a lot and gave me an idea of what to expect from their speed. Thank you!

Thankyou and the only difficulty you may have is feeding but then I just persist until they do
@JasonBooth79 Жыл бұрын
Yeah feeding, but as long as you know where it is... I put mine in adult enclosure at like 2" it was growing so fast, and just tong fed it.

Great rehouse Gav! It’s great to have the Mrs in all the videos too 💕 beautiful T and I must say I do rehouse them into roomy enclosures too 😅 it’s fascinating to be able to see what they do with their space 🤓 the run meme is so funny 😂 👍🏾

I just got a little one today I'm glad to see you hold it. The lady at the shop said they can be held but are fast and when I went home and started researching alot of sites were saying not to hold this type which made me sad but I'm hoping since we are raising it from tiny it will get used to me and being held.
@gavsTarantulas3 жыл бұрын
Yeh ive held a few but don't recommend it, but sometimes you can't help it, this species is a little nippy and likes to do exploration bites while walking around so be carful
I must say she looked bigger on camera till u zoomed out lol a beaut of a spider tho

People should be aware that these spiders do have a medically significant bite.
@gavsTarantulas2 жыл бұрын
Depending on the location of the bite it will be painful but not medically significant like some pokies

I've had my Rose Haired Tarantula I call Harry since 2009. In December it will be turning 14 years old. I am guessing they were wrong when they sold it to me it saying it was a male, because they say males don't live long. So I guess I will name it Harriet now LOL.☮️🧘♀️🕷️

My Rose Hair Tarantula has level one venom level. That is the lowest. They say it leaves a rash for a few days. But, if a person is allergic to spider bites, that will be a problem.☮️🕷️
