The guy is the best player in college football and it's not even close. Even in the games his team lost, he averaged 400 yards and 4 TD's a game. The Heisman vote shouldn't even be close at this point. Through 10 games: 195 - 273 (71.5%) for 3,164 yards (11.6 ypa), 30 TD's and 4 INT's 114 carries for 918 yards (8.1 ypc) and 8 TD's And that's playing an SEC schedule plus on the road against undefeated FSU. Show me somebody else, ANYBODY else, with numbers like that. Current Heisman favorite, Bo Nix has 4 fewer TD's and about 800 fewer yards.

Jordan Travis > Jayden Daniels. 17 points on a defense that was sleepwalking at least through the first drive isn't impressive (the last 7 were against FSU's benchwarmers). FSU bottled him up really well, especially considering the holding. The previous week UF made Arkansas' offense look elite and allowed 39 points (33 in regulation). Arkansas' offense was so bad they fired their OC. Congrats on scoring 52 against UF, though. I love playing Jayden Daniels as an FSU fan because even when he was at ASU you knew he wasn't going to beat you by himself. He finally learned how to throw a football this year.

One of those games he turned the ball over 3 times and they still won by 8 points, LSU loses against Arkansas, Florida, and Mizzou if Penix was their QB. LSU would have a losing record with Penix. Let's do a heisman swap. Take any other heisman contender QB and put them on LSU, and gave that team Daniels. What would their record be with Daniels, and what would LSU's record be with say, Carson Beck, Nix, Penix, Mccarthy, Milroe?

Not crazy to LSU fans. We saw it coming. BK has yet to repair the damage that Orgeron caused. Last year Kelly had to get majority of his team in the portal especially on defense. The only problem was our secondary were basically seniors last year, so they all went to the draft. So, it's going to take another season or two for BK to rebuild the defense. We lucked out with some freshman on offense last year. Our transfers this year were from small schools and they're obviously ass. BK needs to hit big on some freshman DBs. He also needs to hit on some LBs because Perkins is still poor in coverage.

Marques Tuiososopo (U of Washington) was the original 300/200 guy (vs Stanford). He stood for years (decades?) as the only player to do it until just a year or two ago. I think a Clemson QB several years ago got to something like >300 passing and 198 yds rushing ... and then didn't play the 4th quarter due to a blowout victory. Either way, congrats to Daniels on upping the bar ... but the general milestone of 300/200 isn't new. It's just more rare than a perfect game in baseball.
