I was sick with Covid and comforted myself with watching 80s movies I hadn't seen yet - and found North Shore. Fun little surf movie, with a killer soundtrack! I thought I knew this band, but I'd never heard this song until seeing the movie. What a great track. Thank you North Shore!

Pseudo Echo are a FANTASTIC band!!!! It's great to see James in this video. He has an older cousin i met a couple of times years back, is a singer and friend of my brother. He was going to take me to meet James, but did not end up happening. Maybe one day! James is a honey!!!!

I was born in 1973. Bought "Love An Adventure" in 1987, because of Pseudo Echo's version of Funky Town, which is wonderful, and I was surprised by the freshness, great melodies and unique Pseudo Echo's style of all of the tracks. Great buy ! But my turntable broke, I never got a new one nor I bought the CD and I eventually forgot PE inmersed in other styles. 2+ decades after, thanks to a sudden remembrance and the magic of KZbin I am am listening to all these tracks again, and they make feel sooooo happy. For me, this is great stuff thankfully rescued back today from oblivion !!!

Walking in a strange light, looking at the walls The walls are getting higher and I think they're gonna fall They're gonna fall down over me, crush me till I scream Now I'm only hoping that I'm living in a dream It's just a dream;it's just a dream; Fear lies over me, I feel it all around Something's looking at me and I think it's got a crown It's not a king or a queen but something in between Now I'm only hoping that I'm living in a dream It's just a dream;it's just a dream; It's strange how things seem to be different When you're living in a dream It's strange how things seem to be different When you're living in a dream Wars and violence here happen every day But I'm in another world a million miles away It's just like real life, true life, living in a dream But everything is better then, or that's the way it seems It's just a dream;it's just a dream; It's strange how things seem to be different When you're living in a dream It's strange how things seem to be different When you're living in a dream It's strange how things seem to be different When you're living in a dream It's just a dream It's strange how things seem to be different When you're living in a dream It's strange how things seem to be different When you're living in a dream It's strange how things seem to be different When you're living in a dream It's strange how things seem to be different When you're living in a dream Living in a dream living in a dream living in a dream

Some of my friends were 2-3 yrs younger than me and I'd pick them up from school as a favor, but they'd wondered: "Who is this AWESOME band?" And I'd ennunciate (incorrectly: Psuedo Echo, from Australia!"), and they'd go, yea, yea.... Of course I'd find out, they went to the local RECORD shop, bought the RECORD, and thank me later...
