I’m stuck at 1 boss cell. Lol this game is ruthless. I’m just now starting to understand the idea of “pick a color and stick with it” aspect. I would just pick whatever looked liked it put out the most damage and didn’t really worry about color. My game is slowly improving so I might get through it one day.

I usually just pick nutcracker with wolf traps and ice grenade along with ice shards. It works like a charm.

@@agent3299 nutcracker with wolf trap was the first build that helped me beat hotk for the first time. It's amazing. I had a cudgel too which had freezing on parry and a golden amulet that froze any enemy that got a hit on me and that was insanely helpful with biomes.

Very very late reply, but in contrast, Rampart is probably the easiest level out of the three, Morass and Ossuary are hard.

@@swaminathanj5110 Debatable, Ossuary is very basic, although you might argue that Slashers are really hard to deal with, but that's about it, AND Slashers are still in Morass. The map is too big for Inquisitors to be effective, and other enemies are pushovers compared to Morass' Blowgunners(although they're also pushovers, way more effective than Inquisitors in freaking Ossuary lmao), and Rampagers at above 2BC.

Just beat 0BC first time. Sacrificed one mushroom boioo at the altar in the Morass of the Banished - Pure curiosity, didn't want to skip fighting mama. Ended up with dual mushroom bois in Clock Tower and took them all the way to Hand of The King. Had no idea about the ending cutscene but actually had Ygdar Orus Li Ox working.

Things I learned fron the video: Use a shield as secondary slot. Parry is op. Quit Armordillo pack addiction. Stop using the No Mercy crutch. Take all cursed chests and stop being a pansy. Go for Survival runs instead of Brutality cause I suck at the game

I was in bc2 for a year. Just got it yesterday. The one thing that got me through it was pacing. Like Psychie said, I lose by focusing too much on the fight. So yesterday, I donned a shield and decided to dance with hotk instead. Get a good hit & defend & hit again (instead of charging like a madman). Got him without flask (I had none left)

So i also was stuck on 2 BCs for a long time but then i decided to tryhard again after quitting for a few months and in a few hours if experimenting i habe figured out a very solid build i think. I beat the boss on the 2nd try with that. It is a survival only build which uses the following build: Weapons: Flawless/Giant Killer Frostblast Skills: Frost armor Frost grenade Mutations: Frostbite No Mercy I think it was scheme (extra dps with melees after using a skill) This way you have a very nice clear, very nice crowd control and stuns, you an even allow to get hit with frost armor. Very good build which will get you through a lot stages hitless. My pathing was: 1. stage -> sewers -> corrupted prison -> Ramparts -> Concierge -> Slumbering Sanctuary/Stilt Village -> clock tower -> Clock room -> kings castle -> throne room. Just make sure to get the backpack and drag along your giant killer otherwise you wont have enough dmg for the last boss. Hope this helps.

Welcome! For 0BC I would say just try to learn the game mechanics and you will beat it eventually. My hands were shaking when I beat the final boss for the first time. Have fun with the game!

The way I play deadcells is by going fast, and then even faster. I have a problem with taking things slow. This leads to me dying over and over again. It doesn't help that I play on mobile so the buttons are finicky sometimes.

Going for time doors prevent you from getting all the rewards of the level so ussaly we avoid them

Best tip I can give is use custom mode to limit unfavorable weapons and make a better build. Otherwise you're just at the whims of rng god's.
