This song was a cover they performed while competing in San Remo festival 2021. That year they came with “Zitti e buoni” and won the competition that led them to Eurovision. This performance is from the duet night (Sanremo festival covers several days) where the band got to pick an existing song and perform it with another artist outside from the competition

Ciao ... Avete notato l'intensità di questa performance ? Potreste mai immaginare che hanno fatto tutto questo in un posto SENZA PUBLICO ? Si perché a causa delle restrizioni per il COVID il publico non era presente in quel momento eppure loro hanno dato tutto come sempre perché come ha detto in una intervista Damiano " quando saliamo sul palco non importa se ci sono 10 persone o 10.000 persone si meritano sempre il meglio da noi " ( ok forse non erano proprio queste le parole ma il senso portava a questo 😅 ) ... Infatti che si trovino a cantare in un piccolo studio televisivo con poche persone o in un mega concerto in giro per il mondo loro quando si esibiscono danno sempre tutto di loro ... Si donano sempre completamente . Li adoro anche per questo 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Oh - this is so cool! This might be the only Sanremo Amandoti on KZbin at the moment. Yes, they came second in X-factor and then put in the hard yards performing and releasing an EP and an album, so by this point they had quite a following in Italy. But certainly not Internationally…until winning this competition followed closely by Eurovision gave them huge international exposure.

San Remo is Italy's most important musical festival. Every artist has to perform with the San Remo orchestry and is assigned one of the conductors. (unfortunately Rai i very strict about copyrights surrounding it) It's I think five nights in one week, with each episode lasting till like two or three in the morning. (watching it is like a marathon, I have yet to achieve it to get through one ep in one go.) In order to participate in it, you have to be handpicked by the director and host of the show, which for the past five years as Amadeus, but he just had his last year. Most of the participants are established artists, though there are also a few newcomers welcomed each year.

Thank you again, for another great reaction! I find this a great performance! It's a very intense and dramatic love song! It's a very popular old italian song. There is also an only Måneskin video on youtube, but i really like this performance. The arrangements are great, and the partnership with Manuel resulted very well. Not sure if you noticed, but there was no audience, because it was during the pandemic. Which turns this performance even more amazing, for how they could release such power and intensity without a crowd in place.

Fun fact: At the end of the song someone from the organizer came with a bouquet of flowers, reaching it to Victoria, she wanted to take it, but damiano handed the flowers to Manuel!

But is usual at Sanremo for the competing performer to gift the flowers to either the guest or the conductor of the orchestra (every performer gets a bouquet of flowers after every performance, Sanremo is famous for it's flowers).
