Explore quickly and quietly, for whenever you land the Seeker hunts you from beneath the sands!
Search each location for the items you need to survive, build and craft.
Build your airship into a floating fortress packed with crafting stations.

Harvest resources from the desert to help you on your adventure.

Your goal isn't just survival, but victory! Can you survive long enough, can you build and craft yourself strong enough, to reach the heart of the desert, solve the mystery of the creatures' origin and fight your way to victory?
The Desert Skies Story
It's the American Wild West gone horribly wrong.
It began with rumours of terrifying creatures attacking people at the far frontier. Then the first town was wiped out. Now years have passed and everyone has fled east, leaving behind a ghost land.
You were part of an expedition to investigate the creatures and their origin. A fully stocked hot air balloon kept you all safely off the desert floor, until a sandstorm destroyed most of the airship and took the rest of your team with it.
Now you're the sole survivor, out of supplies and clinging to what's left of your airship as it drifts down towards the sand. You've spotted some wagons in the desert ahead and have just enough fuel to make it there. You might find supplies, and if you can scavenge enough to get back into the air then you might be able to limp from location to location and rebuild enough to fly far west, solve the mystery and stop the monsters...
But that means landing. The creatures are attracted to noise, and on the desert floor they can hear you scream.

Hey Paul! From what I've notice about this build of the game as I was playing was that when you land just in the general desert the Seeker doesn't come based on how much noise you make, but more of a time limit. And you are correct that the Seeker can hear you if you aren't in stealth mode when you visit a POI. I haven't encountered the mine yet, but I think that it's another safe zone like the oasis.

Oasis is a safe zone thanks to the water so it would make sense that gold ole would make that area a safe zone too.

That last pillar thingie, unity game, stuff appears closer when it is in the corners of your screen when you look at it. Stranded deep has it too, get an island in the top right/left corener and you can see details. In the center it's much farther away. :)

Has nothing to do with unity. All media have it if you increase the field of view, it's the result of projecting it on a flat plane. It's just less obvious in games like Skyrim because of the artstyle.

My guess is that 'grub' is a baby seeker. Notice how the eyes glow the same red color. Which could also explain why the seekers are mad at humans...for eating their babies....Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Just to note, some forts have their gates and doors blocked so they don't open from inside or outside. Besides once inside the sand bank is not high enough to jump out leaving you trapped. I had to get out a game without saving it when that happened. Need to send a note to the developers.
