Is the ZAGG Pro Stylus a Good Apple Pencil Alternative?

I like the zagg pro stylus and the tilt recognition is good enough for me. I've always had the problem of applying too much pressure to everything so the apple pencil is pointless to me. As someone who likes art I prefer tilting my pencil to do shading so it's enough for me

I’ve had my Zagg pencil for about 2 months now and it’s great honestly. Never had any problems with it so far. It is a bit pricey (honestly for $80 you might as well get an Apple Pencil) but I got 50% off so it was a steal in my opinion.

@@liminatii it just sucks that it's so ridiculously over priced! I myself do art on the Samsung s6lite and the pen it comes with retails for 80$ with pressure sensitivity. It works so good without even needing charging but my gf has a iPad pro, I'm going to get her the apple pen 2 cause it's clear there's really no viable alternative for art the price just sucks. Cause like I don't dislike apples products I actually think it's really innovative and cool I just would never buy it for myself since everything gets marked up so much more than it's actually worth. Seriously great review though you got my sub

Btw the end of of the zagg pro stylus is like a rubber mesh which in some apps can be used as a rubber without changing the brush 😚

The tip looks finer than apple pencil, is that really so? Can you feel the difference in accuracy and particularly in the ability to write small letters?

if the tip is smaller, it's hardly noticeable. I wouldn't say you're getting any gains in accuracy.

The functionality is basically the same, but the shape and size are very different. It really just comes out to your shape preference tbh.

The capacitative (finger) end of this stylus has a strong magnetic reaction (pull) at a corner of my iPad Air. Anyone else? Should I be concerned?

Yeah, it is annoying at times but I don't worry about it. I bought an Air 5 last month and it seems to be a manufacturing defect in the stylus - charging port on top, so I accepted it.

No. The tips are slightly different. I’d recommend calling customer support.
