Is it possible to paint in ArtStudio Pro using a CMYK palette, rather than just seeing a preview of how the painting would look like in CMYK? If somebody is creating a painting that is meant to be printed, then it would probably save them some time to paint directly using CMYK palettes. This way there would be no need for additional color adjustments.

Quick shapes are coming to the newest version of artstudio. Final beta has gone out today, so official version will be dropping soon! Video highlighting my favorite new features will follow.

For now you can change "Drawing Mode" to certain shapes under the brush/opacity slider.
