i remember how before p5 (i think, i forgor) for chinese oral you have to describe a picture with lots of actions in it? for me i prefer the video one, picture one just stresses me too much

The third tip is wrong. Actually, you SHOULD go with the harder option, if you can, says Mrs Toh, my GEP English teacher. (I'm Singaporean-Canadian GEP) But, if you can't come up with anything for the harder option, it's much better to go with the easier option. Hi, octoanimations6199! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and we agree with you that the circumstances do matter! Therefore, it is important for students to choose the option which they feel confident about and are able to develop most effectively. In our video, the easier option refers to the option which a student would have more details to include and expand. This could be any option and our advice is for a student to weigh and choose the option which he/she is able to elaborate more on. For instance, if a student prefers option A to option B in a stimulus but finds that he/she is actually able to elaborate more on option B, then it will be exam-smart to choose option B instead of what he/she prefers as an individual. However, if the student finds that he/she is able to expand both options rather equally, then the student should be able to choose either.
